I have facial paralysis and my Dr recommended a direct brow lift when he does the surgery to correct my collapsing nose (also do to the paralysis). He said I would have local anesthesia for the brow lift part as I would need to sit up and be able to raise my brow (only the non-paralyzed side actually works) and then have general anesthesia for the nose surgery. My question is this: Has anyone had the brow lift with the incision just above the brow? Did you only have local anesthesia? More details and info, please. I am VERY nervous.
