Who has had a direct brow lift?

I have facial paralysis and my Dr recommended a direct brow lift when he does the surgery to correct my collapsing nose (also do to the paralysis). He said I would have local anesthesia for the brow lift part as I would need to sit up and be able to raise my brow (only the non-paralyzed side actually works) and then have general anesthesia for the nose surgery. My question is this: Has anyone had the brow lift with the incision just above the brow? Did you only have local anesthesia? More details and info, please. I am VERY nervous.

Thanks for your post on RealSelf! I'm sorry you have to deal with paralyzation of your face. Here's what some doctors say about direct brow lift incisions (though yours seems to be quite a specialized case). I hope you get some feedback from folks who've had this done.
