Developed a large red blotch 2 weeks after Fraxel

I had one Fraxel non-ablative treatment 16 days ago. Now I have developed a large bright red blotch covering most of my left cheek, crusting around the nasal folds and general red blotchiness all over. Is this normal for this to show up suddenly after the two week point? I have very fair skin, the expected post-treatment redness faded quickly two days after the treatment.
