6 days post-op

6 days since my tummy tuck.... feeling weird.... I prepared myself for the pain, and of course the end results, but not for the appearance of my stomach in the meantime! I get very anxious and emotional every time I have to change my bandages! Anyone else experience this?

I just want to be done with the binder! It's too long to wear any sundresses unless they are long! And it is so hot!!!!!

You are going to have all sorts of strange feelings in that tummy for a long while.  The appearance will also be rough for a bit.  This is a long and slow process so give it some time and it will all smooth out and feel better soon.

At only 6 days post op, feeling weird is pretty normal. Just take a breath, try to relax and take care. In the meantime, read some TT stories. They kept me occupied and reassured in my first few days. Heck, Kimmers had me laughing out loud reading about her journey.
