Anyone have a CRNA?

I've had issues with anesthesia not being strong enough in the past.  For both babies, my epidural had to be upped and I can remember getting additional novocaine at the dentist.  So, it has been recommended that I have a CRNA present instead of going with the usual local anesthetic.  I was wondering if anyone else had gone the CRNA route and what was their experience like?  I won't be put completely under - but just enough to be comfortable.  The nurse said I shouldn't remember much at all about the procedure.  Basically I would just wake up and it would be over.
