I was thinking of going to India for my full upper arch implants and bridges but, when I extended my search for information and reviews I discovered that al the review on the clinic I had in mind were fake. People had been paid for them. I also found a site where reviews from real patients for that clinic were terrible. So do your research all over the internet before deciding. I am sure there are very good providers in India but I decided not to take the risk. In some western European countries implants are just as cheap, but still take all your time do your research right

Yes most of the reviews are just all made up by some hired marketers by the clinics or the doctor, so you have to be extra careful. Patients should looked at various options, weighed up the pros and cons and of course the cost. Although if you're really having a major dental treatment, like full mouth make-over then getting abroad is a smart decision, which allow you to save costs and enjoy visiting new countries. The best way to choose a good dentists is to use a reputable, international medical tourism consultancy. They will help you track down average dental costs for a wide variety of treatments in different countries and help you find a qualified and experienced dentist. I had an implant in India last year, arranged by a medical tourism provider in Colorado called PlacidWay. Price implants in the US, if you need a whole arch (top/bottom), try 25-40000$. In India, the exact same brand of implant, the exact same brand of crown, you can get it for only 1/10th-1/8th the cost in the US. Having an implant is a three step process, and could involve three returns to India, so you also have to take note of the travel cost. It's also important that the doctor you chose should have adequate experience in the field of implantology.

I just did a quick search on our site, and unfortunately didn't see any information posted on the cost of dental implants in India, so I'm glad you started this forum. Hopefully others who have received implants in India will be able to share their experience with you.

I'm assuming that costs will vary from dentist to dentist, as they do in the U.S. With that in mind, please make sure you do a lot of research regarding the success rate the dentist has with implants.

Hi Megan! My husband is about to get total mouth implants in India. The cost is $12,800. But here in the states, it would be about $50,000. And it would be an inferior product as well. We're excited. I'll try to get him to write up a review for this site when it's all finished.

The cost in India vary a lot for example straight abutment (dental implant)- 25000 Nobel Bio-care, 40,000/- Nobel Guide. The price of the mini implant are less by nearly half and even goes to of about quarter then that of dental implant in India.
