cost of breast implants?

I have been quoted $8,400 for 450cc silicone implants, placed under the muscle, with incision under the breast. This is $2,400 more than my budget. I am very dissapointed because I would like to have the surgery before November. I live on the East Coast but am willing to travel to a reputable doctor that is resonably priced. Can any please recommend who you have used with good results. I am considering Out-of States Surgeons as a possability but do not know where to start...... Thanks for any help available!!!! ~Goldie

I paid $6500 for 550 cc saline implants under the muscle at Dr Jugenberg's office in Toronto, ON. The staff was AMAZING! They also pay for one of you r hotel nights after surgery in the Fairmount Hotel - the same building their clinic is in.

Well I live in NYC and it was 11,500! My friends use a great plastic surgeon in Florida. They have had breast augmentations, tummy tucks , an arm lift and most recently another had lipo with Brazilian butt they paid far less

Also Lennox hill hospital has a fellowship program it's 4500 some of my co workers have gone their with great results!

Hi there,

That sounds like a little more than the average cost (which is listed at $6,100 right now), but you are on the East Coast, so maybe that's the reason. Keep in mind that traveling expenses can eat into anything you might save by traveling and if you go out of country, you won't have good follow up care at home. You might want to make a few more consultations in your area as doctors do differ in cost, but you want to make sure you base your decision on more than just cost.
