Correcting asymmetrical nostrils

Correcting asymmetrical nostrils

I recently had a rhinoplasty where during consultation is was agreed to be a closed procedure, however once I awoke the dr. performed an open.

As a result of the surgery, my nostrils are asymmetrical. It has been 4months since the operation was performed.

Hi Lin, I am sorry that your rhinoplasty did not go as planned. It does appear that your nostrils are asymmetric as well as retracted. You will need revision surgery to correct your nose. It was not the open approach that caused your asymmetry, but other surgical factors. Your revision will be complex. Make sure that your surgeon is skilled, experienced, and comfortable in this procedure. I wish you the best. Dr. P
