Anyone Has Complications after Eyelid Surgery????

Right from the get go I felt something was wrong.  Because  My eyes wasn't anesthetizes enough , I felt almost everything what he did to me.  It was very painful experienced. He kept cauterizing my eye and wiping it with the gauze for a long time.  I asked, is everything o.k??  And he told me that he cut into my blood vessel and was not able to control the bleeding.  My eye was swollen shut during the procedure. He kept forcing me to open the complicated eye and I wasn't able to.  when he stitched up my eyes, he barely use enough stitches, four stitches in each eye.  I can totally see the uneven stitches line. I had cornea abrasion  due to the fact that he wiped  a lot.  He didn't give me any numbing drops or eye oiment afterward. It felt like sands inside.   My eyes was extremely swollen the next day.  the complicated eye was the worse.  Couple days later the bad eye was slightly open, I had hyphema, It took nearly two weeks to clear it up.   Horrible  eyelid job!!!   I am still experiencing a lot of discomfort, tight, swollen, red, asymmetry, and extremely dry especially on the complicated eye.  I am looking forward to see the changes every morning..But doesn't look better any time soon.  Forgot to mention I had this done over sea...which make it very difficult to communicate or follow up.  And of course my coverage was cut off while I was away for a leave of absent. Please share your stories with me if you have a similar experienced.  Thanks

I have had the same experience as you, going thru it now. My eye looks just like yours swollen, pulled tight and not the same as the other. What have you done since you posted? Are you feeling better? I Would like to communicate with you, do you have an update? Hope you are better.

Good new....for a bad situation anyway ;) I'm a month out. I saw a specialist who wants to watch the healing progress for a couple of months before doing anything. it does seem to be getting better. Some days it looks better than others but for the most part, nobody would notice the lazy eye complication without my pointing it out now. Time, time, time...be patient.
