Canada Lifestyle lift doctor?

By MissM on 04 Jan 2007

Is the lifestyle lift available outside of the United States.  The lifestyle lift website doesnt give this information.  I'm in Toronto, Canada but my friend in London also has this question.

Not available in Toronto as far as I know. But I went on free consultation to one of their offices in Michigan. And I'd like to get it but hate to pay USD.

I am also waiting to find out about any places in Canada that this is available. Perhaps the closest place in USA would be of interest but Canada is my first choice. We are now April 2010. Something must have developed!

I'm in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and would love this procedure, I think,,, but when I tried to call the 1-800-303-1969 number on the Infomercial to get the brouchure, it said the number was out of order????. I was sitting here watching the commercial and I dialed 3 times thinking I must be making a mistake, but no, it just didn't work and it's had me perplexed. I don't know if it's just because they don't accept other than U.S. calls and if thats the case a nice little message saying, sorry we are unable to accept out of country calls at this time but hopfe to in the near future. Or, did the commercial people make a big mistake and put the wrong phone number and no one caught it??? Or, or.... The dotted map on the informercial looked like it was all U.S. based and with all the follow up visits required, if you decided to go to the States to have the procedure, you'd have to keep that in mind. Hmmm, I wonder how we get qualified face only plastic surgeons to learn this one hour technique, buy into this franchise and open up clinics across the country right here in Canada??? Hmmm, Someones going to make alot of money, and the sooner the better I say! Where do I sign up???

On the map where it shows the balloon type icons marking the sites, they do show one in Ontario (no city) just Ontario, Ca. Price is approx. $6,800.00

I just had a 'nonsurgical" facelift done 2 and a half weeks ago in Seattle. I've had a facelift before at Stanford Hospital in California--late 1988--so I know the procedure. Liftstyle Lift is the same as the old days, but not in a hospital and not under general anesthetic. This is NOT an alternate to surgery; this IS surgery. And not good. I have ridges and stretch/fold marks I never had before. I'm hoping this outfit will rectify the situation, but, if not, I'll be asking for at last a third of my money back. I plan to move to California soon and will go to Mexico for repairs. Avoid Lifestyle Lift, unless you've researched the doctor thoroughly. Trust me.

Hi All, I just got sucked into the infomercial myself, but found this following comment online. Sounds like just another scam, just go get a mini-face lift and use filler injections for great results and proven safety! See below for a woman's results! By the way, I found many more complaints! ________________________________ Biggest mistake I ever made Being in the entertainment industry, as a ballroom dancer, I wanted to "refresh" my look. Thought that lifestyle lift would do the trick. I look exactly the same, went through hell, and still have numbness behind my ears. It's been over a year. The recovery could not have been worse than a full face lift, my ears stick out, the procedure was similar to a cattle call. Office was overbooked and my surgery was delayed by hours. Recovery was only explained to me after the surgery. Several of the downsides were never brought up during the initial consultations. When you see those women on the ads,,,,rest assured,,,,they had more done than just a lifestyle lift. More deception. Waste of time,,,waste of money and permanently caused numbness in my ears and ears that now stick out more than they ever did.....BAD BAD BAD IDEA,,,,don't believe ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU IN CONSULTATION. THESE ARE GIRLS WITH NO OTHER BACKGROUND OR EDUCATION, NEVER HAD A FACE LIFT,,,GET PAID BY NUMBERS OF PEOPLE THEY CAN HOOK INTO THIS SHAM. DON'T LISTEN IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO,,,BUT BELIEVE ME,,,IT'S AN HONEST WARNING AND HOPEFULLY A HELPFUL ONE...TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

Bhavana, thank you for sharing your experience. i was watching this ad this morning and i was thinking about having it done too.
You are the first one that i have heard with a negative response.
Their ad sounded "too good to be true" and after reading your response, i'm inclined to believe that it is "too good to be true".
i have no time or money to waste on shams. i'll pray that your numbness disappears and you are restored to your previous condition.
Thank you once again.

Hope this review helped you in making the decision not to go for this scam. There seems to be a new type of laser treatment called Sciton Laser Resurfacing, which is safe and eliminates scars, wrinkles and gives a mini face lift. Between that and a few injections it should safely take about twenty years off! Fat injections are the best way to go if you can afford it as your body readily accepts it and it stays plumped for years.
All the best!

I had lift 2 weeks ago and would do it again if I needed it I am so pleased with it I work in the public and I have had nothing but positive responses from all my customers .
Some people dont heal well and also dont do what they are told I had ice on me at least 20 min every hour and I took arnica I had no brusing just swelling and the ice took care of that.
I was back to work in 8 days and you could not tell that I had surgery except that I looked better.

Hi:

I do not think the Lifetyle Lift is available in Canada at this time. I had mine done two months ago while on vacation in Florida. I can only say that it is one of the best things that I have ever done for myself.
Annika4 (1 post) 24 Oct 2011
Hi Finnigan I'm going to Fort Lauderdale, Florida this winter, and was wondering where exactly you had yours done, and what was the name of your doctor? It sounds like you're very pleased with the results. Thanks in advance. Terri, Montreal, Canada

I am really interested in the Lifestyle Lift. What was you recovery time like and how much does it cost.
Finnigan (2 posts) 14 May 2011
Hi:

I has been three months since I had the Lifestyle lift done. It was done under a combination of oral and local anesthetic. My procedure took an hour and a half. I remember very little of the procedure..certainly no pain but rather a feeling of pressure at times. The first and second day post op were uncomfortable (not unbearable!) but pain medication was prescribed and I took it as I needed it. The third day was a "turn around day" for me...I was no longer in any discomfort and began to resume my normal schedule. The stitches in front and behind my ears dissolved or fell out within the first two weeks. There was some slight residual swelling but that abated within a month.

I still have some numbness in front and behind my ears but that does not bother me...I can get my earrings in so I am ok with that !! Some of these things just take time I think ...

My husband and children tell me that I look ten years younger... not only do I "LOOK" ten years younger...I "FEEL" ten years younger!! Every day I am happy that I did this for myself.

The cost was $6,500.00. Money WELL SPENT if you ask me !!
