Calendar for Upcoming Tummy Tuck Surgery Dates for RealSelf Members

One of the hardest things about going through a medi-beauty procedure is feeling alone. Sure, you might have a supportive friend, relative, or significant other, but that’s not the same as sharing the journey with someone experiencing a similar mixture of excitement and nervousness.

Whether you want to find a surgery buddy or would like to support others heading toward their big day, check out RealSelf’s calendar of upcoming surgeries.

To get on the calendar yourself, start your tummy tuck story here and make sure you choose “Haven’t Done It Yet” to open the calendar feature. Once your review has been submitted and approved, you’ll be added!

If your surgery date changes, be sure to send a personal message to customer support so we can update you on the calendar.

Thank you for being part of RealSelf and we hope you enjoy this feature!

anybody have any advice about what to expect right after surgery? Like what is the pain like? I have two kids like I said before so I have had two previous c sections. Anyone who has had a c section would you compare the two pain wise? Thanks in advance for any replies.

other than waking up cold and shivering I have to say my pain was not near what I had anticipated. they got me warm and gave me something to drink. I'm sure the esparel pain meds I paid extra for made Big difference. I am walking a lot to limit blood clots and they told me today when I went back for my post op that the walking plays a big part in how well I feel today. no kids here but 3 small dogs that I have to keep off of my tummy. I had 2 vertical c section and hysterectomy and I really think the binders I'm in makes a huge difference. I am really surprised athow well I feel and the amount of pain. I do take pain meds right on time so that it doesn't get out of hand. good luck!!!

Hello I am a 24 year old mother of two and I'm having a full tummy tuck plus muscle repair May 12th 2014.

I had the same thing, I was torn clear up into my rib cage. I am six months out and so happy I followed through with the surgery. I worked for a plastic surgeon for 9 years before this surgery. Insist on a pain pump if you are getting muscle repair. Its just numbing medication for the first 4-5 days and sooooo worth the $250.
