I was never told to shave but I did, only because I had to do it before two prior surgeries! The worst part is you are already itchy when your incision starts to heal and then with the hair growing back...OMG I was itching like crazy :)

The directions from the hospital said Not to shave. You increase your chances of infection if you shave. They use an electric razor on you to get rid of hair.

Booked into get a full bikini wax. I know it doesnt itch when it grows back like shaving.Thanks for your input.
