I just had my reduction a little over a week ago and I am bigger than I was...I am so discourged and upset.  I know it takes time for the fluid and swelling to go down, but I hate to think I spent nearly 7,000 thousand dollars out of my pocket for this....anyone else in the just have their reduction done?  If so, can you tell me where you are?  Bigger, smaller..

I did not just have my reduction. I almost 8 weeks post op. The fluid and swelling will definitely go down. It takes at least 4-5 weeks to have significant fluid loss and feel more comfortable overall. You should notice the boxy look reduce in the same time period. They will continue to soften and settle into a more natural look and feel. Hang in there and enjoy the changes. You made it through some of the hardest parts, surgery and first week post op.

I appreciate your comment....I guess I just want instant results......it is really hard when I look at myself or have a bra on, everything is still pretty much the same...it has only been 10 days....impatient I guess.....

Swelling and fluid retention will make it seem this way for a while.   Also, after a reduction your breasts sit higher and feel hard.  When you are use to them hanging low; and suddenly they are high and perky it's a shock.

Give this some time and I know you will notice change between 4-6 post op.
