Breast lift coming up

By uniquelynoone on 08 Mar 2011

I have tuberous breasts with grade 3 ptosis. There is about a 1 1/2-2 cup size difference. I have just gotten a referral for a consult from my insurance!! I will be going for that in June once I am finished with classes. I had thought about having a tt at time same time but am unsure because I have read you cant lift anything heavier than 5 lbs for 4-6 weeks and I have a 5, 3 and 1yr old. I will post some before pics soon. Wish me luck that my insurance company will cover more than just the consult. haha..

Are you in Missouri? Anywhere near Kansas City or Lawrence Kansas? My Dr. is a sweetheart.

My insurance is paying for the consult fortunately. When the referral was approved I searched for a Dr in network that was active here but unfortunately could not find one.

I had a breast lift/augmentation done on April 6th. I hope you are doing well in your recovery and are pleased with your results. ;-)

Fingers crossed for you!

Depending on your surgeon, you can sometimes get your consultation fee waived. Look your doctor up on RealSelf and see if he or she offers this option.

Yes, with a tummy tuck, you have to refrain from lifting for quite a while, which is hard with small children. Maybe in a few years you could go back for a tt. That would make the recovery much easier.

If you have a few minutes, please consider going over to our Breast Lift Review Community and starting your story there. Hopefully you can get extra support in that area of the site, too!
