Has anyone had a only a breast augmentation to "lift" sagging breasts?

I'm a 5'0, 119 lbs, athletic build with big B/small C breasts. I'm very happy with my size, but started to sag - I just turned 40! I'm not doing a breast lift because of the scar, so going for implants to "lift"/fill the loss of volume at the top. I'm going with high profile silicone, but unsure about size. I want 160cc (180cc max), but most plastic surgeons I talk to are pushing 200 or even 230 cc. One ps said anything smaller wouldn't really do anything. Has anyone used smaller implants for just the lift, but not really increase size?

just fyi i did this and i have regretted it from day one. now i have to have them deflated and pay the cost of removing/having the full anchor lift. i wish i wasn't afraid of the scars, over the muscle implants to avoid the scars of a lift is the worst decision. it causes rapid sagging and irreversable damage. really, don't do it.

Hey there,

Just though I'd check in about your surgery. Did you have it done yet? Did you end up just getting implants?

Hey there,

Please disregard my last message. I just saw your post op pics and your boobs look good. Looks like you didn't need the lift with the size that you ended up getting. They look very good!

Thank you! So far I'm pleased. I'm just waiting for my right implant to fall more and I'll get my stitches out next week.

I don't know if you are still looking for answers, but I'm having imPlants dine next week. You can findmy before pictures. I plan on posting after pictures as well. I'm not having a lift but I'm also not expecting my breasts to be very high either. Keep an eye out for my results if you like.

Dear Dale Ann82,

Thanks for contacting me and letting me know about your before pics! My MAIN reason for having a breast implants is to fill the loss volume at the top - though I wouldn't mind being a little bit bigger. I've been to two plastic surgeons and one is saying I can do just a breast augmentation with implants, another ps is saying I need to a lolipop lift AND implants. Honestly, I really would like to avoid the verticle scar of a lift. The distance from my sternal notch to the middle of my nipple is about 9 inches or 22.5 centimeters.

Ultimately, I just want my boobs to be round, full and no sagging. So, if a lift is the ONLY way to acheive this result, I'm open to options. Where before, a lift was out of the question. Also, I'd rather have the scar (and I'd be set for the next 10 years) than just do implants, and then 2-3 years later, ending up having to pay and do a lift. Rather do it all at once. Would love to see your after pics! Good luck with your surgery - I will email you next week to see how everything went.

I'm planning to go high profile implants because I want my new boobs to be high.

According to most doctors you'll need a lift and then maybe implants as well to boost your breast and give them some top volume. Here's a link you might find helpful.
