Breast Augmentation Incisions Open on Both Breasts with Infection

When I removed the steri strip right breast 3 weeks post-oper I saw hole. My ps removed sutures on left side and it opened like the right side. He says I had reaction to sutures, they are infected and taking keflex and silva (spelling) cream. My implants are below muscle. Did an infection work its way out to the opening and that's why couldn't heal or is my allergy to sutures to blame? What are the chances of BOTH implants being infected and being removed? Makes more sense it was the sutures.

Draining incision after breast implant augmentation surgery

IT sounds as if you are experiencing a suture reaction which is not related to an implant infection. It sounds as if your surgeon is managing the problem appropriately. Remain in close contact with your surgeon.

Stitch abscess?

It sound like you have a stitch abscess. Antibiotics and silvadene topical treatment should be OK. Hopefully, they will close on their own without any major problems.
