@ Notgivenup - What can been done about festoons? I am actually supposed to go back to the ps tomorrow for touch up between my eyes..... Thinking I will cancel. I have had Botox before but two weeks ago was the first time for around my eyes and I didn't even ask him to do it. I just told him that I was there for Botox...... Anyway, I still have a huge bruise under my eye and now my eyebags look 100x worse. vanity is going to kill me yet!

I'm doing eye exercises, I've been told that by lifting my cheeks and tightening my eye muscles will help .Surgery will be next option. Ive read that useing the laser on festoons will damage the existing tissue so when it grows back it will grow back smooth. But praying that my facial exercises will help. I've been doing them for 5 months and I've seen a huge difference in my face.

I am finding that all of the anti-aging creams and procedures are actually making me look older....... Strange because most of the before and afters on RealSelf look amazing. Guess I just can't seem to find the right doctor.

@tmcdowell, I dont use creams. I exfoliate 3 times a wk. I don't use soap on my face. Baking soda or sugar for a scrub. No eye creams. I drink plenty of water. I try and stay away from sugar which you know it breaks down collagen in your face. I also use sunscreen, I take fish oil supplements, I detox on a regular basis. Creams don't work. Save your money and go organic as possible.

Hi everyone, It's been 18 months since Botox. Botox has left me with small puffy festoons!!! They are harder to treat than bags. Only had 10 units, but the rn injected to deep, in other words she didn't know what the heck she was doing, who knows I might of been her first Botox client. Stupid me for being so nieve and trusting someone with my face. Good luck to you all and hope you all recover!!!

Tracy - I just had Botox and although I have always had some baggage under my eyes........ it looks 100x worse. I have had three people in the last 36 hours ask me if my 35 year old sister is my daughter. I am only 45! How are you eyes looking now?

Two months ago, I got botox injection at Lewis Pain, but I did not have any sign of under eye bags after the treatment. It is really curious in your case, did you consult your doctor?

Wow I started using a heating pad on my left side. It's helped. I also read the sauna wet or dry could be good. Have you Horton more botox since?

Nothing has helped. The sad part is that this was my first time getting it, it was my last. Not only did I get bags. But I all of the side affects from it. Anxiety, insomnia, depression etc. I believe I now have Small festoons. I've been doing facial exercises to tighten everything botox damaged back up.

This is botox related I'm dealing with the same issue right now. Two weeks ago I got botox I woke up with the worse bags ever. I'm calling the place today mine is just one eye but they look just like yours. I'm curios to know what's happened since then.

The same problem was happened to one of my friend. He noticed that his eyes have bags, one week after Botox. When he consulted doctor, he said it's a very rare and also help him out of it. Believe that he get out only in 2 weeks. So consult your doctor as soon as possible.

@GarryLe is there anyway that you can find out what your friend dr. Did for his eyes. It's going on 14 months for me with these bags. I'm thinking they are festoons malar bags. I'm being reading up on them and drs. Say they are very difficult to remove. Most of them say using lasers will help smooth them out. I would really appreciate it if you can find out for me. Thanks!

Hi, im so sorry you are going through the same mess that im in. Its been nine months for me, and I still have eye bags. Ive never had eyebags before. I noticed them like ten days after being injected. Crying and stressing these 9 months hasnt helped my eyebags at all. Mine look worse. So the only advice I can give you is to stay positive. Try not to cry and stress, it only makes matters worse. Four months after botox I felt my muscles contracting back, but my bags were left behind. Im doing eye excercises and drinking alot of water. Honestly havent seen any inprovement yet, but im not going to give up. So you will have to wait four months and hopefully you will be back to your original state. Good luck!
