Are Body Wraps a Scam?

They seem to true. If they really worked, wouldn't every person stop doing liposuction, dieting, and exercise?

There are many different body wraps on the market, and many claims made by each company. I work for Wrap Yourself Slim and can tell you that our customers experience INCH LOSS, not WEIGHT LOSS... we sell many wraps to people with special events coming up (weddings etc) who need an instant result! We always encourage our customers to live an active, positive healthy lifestyle - body wraps are not the answer to everything but can certainly give confidence a boost as well as inch loss & skin conditioning!

I agree with the other posters, they may get you immediate inch loss and toning but only because of the detoxification and cosmetic action. That doesnt make them a scam any more than any other cosmetic in which you see immediate or residual effect but no matter the brand all anti wrinkle products including retinol cant do but so much youre still going to age and with the wraps if youre still going to overeat and not exercise your inch loss will not continue each wrap until you waste away. It gives you an improved cosmetic appearance and encourages your cells to metabolize fat but youre still gonna have to do your part for maximum and sustained loss inches OR body weight overall.

THE WRAPS ARE NOT A WEIGHT LOSS TOOL! It is a site specific all natural botanical wrap that tightens, tones and firms problem areas on your body. It is not a weight loss product, its an inch loss product. It is not a product that lasts forever. It is a product that results last for about 2-6 months depending on your eating habits and exercise habits. If you are going to do the wrap and then sit back and eat cheeseburgers and fries everyday.... dont expect good results. The wrap gets into the area of your body you choose and releases the fat toxins in that area, you have to drink an insane amount of water for 72 hours , as that is how long the botanicals remain in your body. The wrap should only stay on for 45 minutes. Its not a scam as I have seen it work on myself and all the other people I have wrapped. Goodluck

Body Wraps are good for getting visible results which help get you more confidence to CONTINUE dieting. They are not meant to eliminate your weight problem, but as a tool to help you feel better about yourself. It doesn't matter what method you use, liposuction, body wraps, or exercise... if you don't change your eating habits, you just get all the weight back. Granted with exercise, at least you train your metabolism to burn a little more fat...

Ya, i see many people advertising them to be miracles. They aren't miracles, per se. I think they are more useful to get instant visible results to boost your confidence to CONTINUE your diet. Most people think that just by putting on wraps that they will lose weight. But if they keep eating unhealthy diets, then they will keep getting all the weight back... Same as liposuction. So i would use them as tools, and not as the "end-all." Hope this helps.

I was super skeptical of them too, but two of my girlfriends have tried them & reported really good results. They aren't a long term thing, so from what they have explained you have to keep doing them & realize that. I haven't done one, but it did make me feel they were less "scammy" after I heard what my girlfriends had to say.
