Hi Lynn,
I had upper lids done 5 wks ago. My vision still not back to normal yet. I am very sensitive to light right after surgery and experienced horrible migraine headache. My perception was bad, one eye is more blurry than the other. I am 44 years old, I didn't have this problem before and now I have distance and close up problems. How are you doing now???

LASIK eye surgery is a procedure that corrects certain vision problems, reducing or eliminating the need for eyeglasses or corrective lenses. LASIK is short for laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis, the technical term for the surgical procedure

I had upper and lower lids done in Lake Oswego OR April 10, 2012 and my vision has changed similar to yours. I am light sensitive and have foggy vision. I had to use a magnifying lens for weeks just to read. Prior to surgery I just wore reading glasses (cheaters) and my mid-range and far vision was fine. I told my doctor and he said I just needed to wait. I was concerned enough to make an appointment with OHSU (university hospital) in Portland to see what the plastic surgery doc might say. He said my upper and lower lid surgery should not affect my vision. Does anyone know what the connection might be?
