Blood in breast... No drain

I didn't get drains after my surgery. I'm at two weeks and have had the doctor drain 40 cc already. My right breast is still bruised and has a bluish color along the bottom. The doctor says this is old blood build up?! Anybody have this? I feel so super swollen still... Even in my stomach. Plus, why did I gain a few pounds?!
My doctor told me the same thing, that it is old blood, and that it will slowly be reabsorbed into the body. I've actually just noticed a difference in mine over the past 24 hours, but it's very slow healing.
I am incredibly swollen (especially in the boob with the old blood), and I think that it's going to take at least another month for mine to really start to go down. My stomach was swollen too (is starting to go down), and my doctor told me that this was totally normal too, and would improve over time.
It sounds to me that you're right on track for what is normal, but I'm right there with you in terms of being over it. Healing from this surgery is all about patience.
