Is bleeding on the first day after having my TT dog ears removed normal?

I had my TT dog ears removed today, and I just realized I am bleeding. I can see the blood ont he gauze under the plastic that the doctor dressed the incision with. Is this normal or have I ripped a stich? I am not in any pain, although I am sill num. Help would be appreciated thanks!
