Yeah, that makes sense since they are more exposed then.
Since you have already had them adjusted for this by your dentist I don't have any great advice to offer. You could put wax over them, but if it is when the trays are out that is more than likely when you are eating so the wax probably wouldn't stay put. Hopefully as your teeth begin to move the attachments will be in less prominent/irritating positions...but I know that doesn't really help things right now. :(

Is it happening when you have the trays in too, or just when they are out?
