Being in the entertainment industry, as a ballroom dancer, I wanted to "refresh" my look. Thought that lifestyle lift would do the trick. I look exactly the same, went through hell, and still have numbness behind my ears. It's been over a year. The recovery could not have been worse than a full face lift, my ears stick out, the procecure was similiar to a cattle call. Office was overbooked and my surgery was delayed by hours. Recovery was only explained to me after the surgery. Several of the downsides were never brought up during the initial consultations. When you see those women on the ads,,,,rest assured,,,,they had more done than just a lifestyle lift. More deception. Waste of time,,,waste of money and permanently caused numbness in my ears and ears that now stick out more than they ever did.....BAD BAD BAD IDEA,,,,don't believe ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU IN CONSULTATION. THESE ARE GIRLS WITH NO OTHER BACKGROUND OR EDUCATION, NEVER HAD A FACE LIFT,,,GET PAID BY NUMBERS OF PEOPLE THEY CAN HOOK INTO THIS SHAM. DON'T LISTEN IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO,,,BUT BELIEVE ME,,,IT'S AN HONEST WARNING AND HOPEFULLY A HELPFUL ONE...TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

this was just posted. I have a consulation next wek and now I am having my doubts. I need the neck area done too much skin I see ictures and alot of extra fat and skin. I am not wondering. Thank you

Kudos Marcy on coming out and telling your story. I too had a really horrible experience with LSL. I wish I had never heard of them. I had to have my entire face redone including my ears which hurt constantly after the LSL surgery (not to mention how long they made my ears). I wish more WOMEN & MEN had the guts to tell their stories and use their names. All the sadness, hurt and just feeling stupid may keep most from coming forward but if I could, I would scream it from the rooftops. DON'T DO THIS TO YOURSELF. I am very happy now that my surgery has been redone by a board certified plastic surgeon. I have to say I don't know what I would have done without him coming to my rescue. My eyes, ears looked better the day after surgery than the entire 9 months I carried the face LSL gave me. What they don't tell you is that they don't give a tinkers damn about you after you are out of their office. I really tried hard to work with them to fix just one eye. They kicked me to the curb and from what I have read here that seems to be how they operate, period. Best to you, I hope you find some kind of closure. Chrystal Eckes

I agree 100% this could have been my post, after one year I not only have numbness but horrible scarring around my ears, DON'T DO IT

This is For Marcy Gardner -- Girl, you should not only be having 2nd thoughts -- you should be running really fast with your money to a certified plastic surgeon. What LSL does not tell you is that Certified Plastic Surgeons can do the same thing in their offices but do not like to do it because of the BAD results!!! For a few hundred dollars more, you can have the work done, and not have to have it redone 9 months later. For your own self preservation, please look into other options for yourself. Don't believe everything you see LSL print and be aware that they have people post on here also with really good results. If they don't or won't use their names (Happy Face or Wonderful Job) you can be pretty sure it is a LSL employee or plant. Just a warning, don't want to see you up here later wondering why you did it anyway. Best to you Chrystal Eckes.

I just had my Lifestyle Lift done 6 days ago and yes it does hurts during the healing process, but what I can see so far thru the swelling and stuff is gonna be great. My mom 77yrs. old and I 54yrs. old had the procedure both done the same day and the actual experience was less painful than I expected. The staff at the Santa Ana office in California were VERY professional and checked on my mother and myself often to make sure we were comfortable .We get our stiches removed day after tomarrow and I am still swollen and numb which I believe is normal after just having lipo on your neck and face and a facelift! Ladies no pain no gain... yes it hurts during recovery but you cleanse properly as instructed and take your medications and that's it...it is surgery so get real ok?! Doing your RESEARCH is the most important thing...when I first heard about Lifestyle Lift before I even mentioned it to my mom, I went on the site of the office that I was interested in going to...checked out each Dr. availible at that facility and their individual credentuals and when I picked the doctor I liked best, I did a back ground check on him with the Dept. of consumer affairs or you can find other sites on the internet for checking out doctors and see if they have had or do have any pending litigations against them. This was MY FACE! So don't be lazy, if YOU allow someone to work on you that is not qualified and you did not check out, then don't complain about the results ...good luck because all I can say...having already done it...I have no complaints so far. Good luck ladies

Eva, I am glad your and your mother both had excellent results. I do not think that this is a bashing forum against other guests, but to inform one another about how their operation and experience with LSL went. I also had the Lift but I was not so lucky. I too looked up the doctor, no pending litigation that I could find on him and really did not have a bad experience with LSL until the lift started. It wasn't that I did not do my homework, it is a fact that this lift works for some people better than others. My main beef with this company is the promises that are made are not true, the lift is invasive, takes much longer than an hour and if something does go wrong, for me, the company did not stand behind the guarantee. So, good for you, but don't be so quick to judge the people that wasn't as lucky as you.

Eva,
May I also add my experience to the mix. I thought I was going in for a "revolutionary new procedure" that would be "about an hour." I had my serious reservations after meeting with the Dr., but he convinced me on the phone that: 1. I would be up and with it within 5 days or so
2, That he had done more surgeries as an ENT in residency than P Surgeons do....(he had a clean record, after all, this was my FACE and I made money as an actress and wasn't taking any chances)

3. That it would be a "small incision, muscles would be pulled up and incision sewn into the "fold of my ears" where it would not be seen. I would only have a "few needles" and would sleep from the "cocktail" he would give me.

I could go on and on....but the reality was that I was handed a consent form while in the chair being prepped for surgery. The procedure was over 3 hours....there were well over a dozen needles into my head which was very painful, I was awake through most of what was a FACELIFT. It was not a revolutionary new procedure. I was misled.

I was unbelievably swollen, and was shocked afterwards to find that my earlobe had been cut from my head, reattached, and I was left with a burn mark on my chin, as well as huge scars behind my ears. It has been a year and the jowls are coming back.....and yet, I still have itchiness from where the incisions were, and numbness. In reading the consent afterward, I realize that it gave them permission to damage my nerves, among other things.
It's taken me awhile to come to terms with this and I will be interested to see how you are doing 5-6 months from now....if you will be pleased a year from now.......please keep us posted.
