Yeah, I'm sorry you're going through this. Sadly, that's the risk of not being treated near your home. (I'm glad you didn't leave the country at least). Have you tried posting a question and photo in RealSelf's Doctor Q&A community? You might be able to get some guidance there. Keep us posted!

I spoke to my doc in Cali (Plastic Surgeon);and emailed him pictures and he saidvI look fine right now to continue to take it easy and the fluid should be absorbed by my body. But from what I have read this is not true. So I will wait a few days and see what happens. No surgeons will see me here in Mass. I did find one and he wants $500.00 kyst for me to walk in the door and then extra $$$ for any procedure that needs to be done. I worry that I will end up having to pay tons of $$$ to correct this. I went to Cali because I have 2 children and my freind offered to take care of me. So it madecsense

For me to go so I could heal. I was there for 2 1/2 weeks. They told me everything looked great!! I was never told of the risks of me doing this out of state. I think any surgeon that is coming in from another state should have to tell there patient that if there are complications this this and this can happen and so you can plan ahead and makevsure you have someone that will see you when you get home if you need to be seen. I am so upset about it and scared. So I guess I see tge one guy here thatcwill see me or go to the ER. The doc in Cali's nurse told me I need to see someone when I look 3 months prego. Right now I just have a little pocket above my scar that when I touch it it looks like a waterbed. Idk what to do!!!

Sorry you're dealing with this a month after your procedure. You should contact your surgeon who can advise you if you'll need follow up care.
