can you become immune to botox?

By colly on 03 Mar 2012

I have been receiving treatment for my ( crows feet ) for around two years with great results, but within the last two sessions I have seen a greater reduction and less effectiveness of the treatment. I have consulted my doctor who is administering the produc,t and the conclusion is, that I am becoming immune to botox? Can you become immune?

While the issue of forming antibodies in response to repeated Botox injections has not been well studied, it has been reported that Botox injections at more frequent intervals or at higher doses may lead to a greater incidence of antibody formation. This may be minimized by injecting the lowest effective dose at the longest feasible interval between injections.
