Hi Everyone, I've never checked in here, but I had my BR on August 13, I'm great! Except my scars are not not looking so fly. My surgeon even suggested a scar revision, he works at a research hospital and is currently doing research on scar revisions so it would be free. The thing is I'm so much happier with my new size and shape that I really don't even care about the scars. But I feel in the long run I might feel differently and regret not taking advantage of this opportunity. I guess I'm just looking for a bit of advice. I'm 23 and went from a 34 G to a 34C or 32D depending on the bra, I was able to have the lollipop incision. What do you lovely ladies think?

Ladies.. When is the best time to start scar treatments?

I think I started using Bio Oil & lots of vitamin E lotions at one month post-op & I still lube them up... My scars are light pink right now; I'm 8-months post-op.

How are all of my August 2012 ladies doing.  Please check in with me and let me know how everything is going a year later.  Would love to hear from you.

I love that I have little boobs but the surgeon didn't do such a great job. Right one lacks volume and he didn't do a great job with the stitching on the actual breast. He freely admitted that wasn't his typical work and would correct for free. I declined bc hubby is ok with the result. However, I would never recommend my surgeon and if I had it to do over again, I would take my time to find the right one. I was too driven by the thought if little boobs for a trip to Hawaii as well as this was the surgeon that came through on the insurance first.

My BR is scheduled for August 1st. Extremely excited after 14 yr DDD, just worried about my initial reaction after the surgery. This is the day I've dreamed of for so long!

Hi missy, right now I'm scheduled for the 14th of aug. I spoke with someone today and they wanted me to come on the 18th of June. I can't make June or July work with my schedule. The coordinator told me she knew she could schedule me for the 14th but will check to see if she has anything earlier in August. Soooo ready for this!

How are all of you August surgeries doing now? I'm at 3 months post-op; I'm wondering what I have to look forward to yet (or worry about?)? Thanks!

I feel great. I'm still sensitive on my breasts. Keep having to remind the husband to be gentle with them. I still get sore in the lipo areas after wearing a bra all day. So so happy with the results. People tell me I look like I have lost weight. I'm going back for more surgery on June 20 ( a little over 3wks from now) going to have a tummy tuck and more lipo. Happy healing!

Hi everyone! I miss hearing how all of you are doing. I went to my ps on Wednesday. He was so happy with how I've healed that he released me from care. The girls have shaped up nicely. Hubby likes them, too. (wink) For the first time in my life, I own printed bras with formed cups that only have two hooks. Whoo hoo!! But now I know how big my tummy is. :( Hugs to everyone! Have a happy holiday season.

Hi 2big2long now just right! Lovely to hear from you!!!!! I see my PS for my 3 month check up on 30th Nov. My boobs are looking good- still getting there as I have some arm pain (nerve issues) which i am sure will settle down. My other half loves my boobs too! I'm still in my Genie Bra's as i haven't bought new ones yet but those i have looked at also have 1 -or 2 hooks!!! Yippee!! 1 or 2 hooks? Can you believe it???! I want a balconette bra for my work Christmas night out but I am really enjoying my new boobs and new clothes which my brain can't perceive properly! I looked at a gorgeous glittery top and instantly picked out a UK size 20... then my brain kicked in that my boobs are now a large B small C.... So I looked again.... and picked out a 12. I thought 'i'll never get in that'! and yet I did. Amazing!! Bought it there and then amongst other things!! I wish i had done this decades ago but i have booked Tango lessons with my man and i have lovely dresses and clothes for xmas when i go out... no more big baps to get in the way!!! Like you i have one issue... my tummy looks big. I will (once i'm 6 months post op) i'll be eating healthily and doing abdominal exercises to get it down. Lovely to 'hear' from you babes and if I don't hear from you before xmas, lots of love and happy holidays! x x

Deb uk, I'm sorry you're still having nerve pain. What a wonderful story of being able to go from a size 20 to a 12!! I have to get busy on the tummy issue. My son is getting married the first week of next May. Now that I have small boobs, it looks like maternity dresses would fit me the best - LOL! Can't look like I'm preggers at his wedding, so it's a strict diet and exercise or a good set of undergarments for me! If you learn any abdominal exercises that really work, please let me know. :) Enjoy the tango lessons!!

Hi babes! A pilates move is best. I did this after my C-Sections as i am lazy and don't like gyms! Lie on your back, knees bent and body supported. (I do mine in bed) Pull up your pelvic floor muscles (i think in the US they call them Kegal exercises?)then pull in your abdominal muscles but without holding your breath. Hold for a count to ten and relax. Do this each night increasing the number you do every 3 days by 5. Practise the pelvic floor muscles as often as you can. If you follow a good eating plan (no junk...my weakness is chocolate and puddings...) too you will find your abdo will decrease. As i haven't seen mine in years...its been a shock how flabby it is! It was once the 'smallest part' of my body! Now I am 'bottom heavy' and its great! I like you just want the flabby tummy to go! Great to know you are doing well. I am sure the nerve pain will go its just a nuisance. I was worried at one point but now i am monitoring it its getting less. Hope you call in on here now and then! I will as I would like to help others just as you and everyone helped me. x x

Omgoodness! My stomach is ginormous. I'm kinda okay now, but for a while there I had some serrrrrious self esteem issues. I still kinda do, but now that I'm all closed up I can get to working out. I still have soreness and the scar tissue areas are painful but things are well. Congrats on your new bras!! I just got a new bra from the Fashion bug going out of business sale. amazing!

TwisaP , so glad to hear you're all closed up and things are well! I have a feeling we're not the only three in our group with "suddenly big" tummies. :) Deb, I'm going to try those exercises and I'll let you know.
