Well, almost a year later I am fine
I had to have a slight revision due to a seroma but for my age and my body style, I am in a good place having had a capable and caring PS and his working "family."

I had my TT on Thurs. April 4th,....spent the night in hospital first night and got released the next day around noon. So, so happy I spent the night the first night!!! Day 2 at home kinda rough and day 2 night was not compfy at all!!! Could not get comfortable and most the night up and down from chair to chair to find comfort. Finally spent most of the night in our office sitting on the office chair with my feet propped up on a stool! Had a really hard time breathing, thought my binder was too tight so I took it off for a minute to loosen it up and realized it was just my stomach being really, really tight. Day 3, woke up and feeling better.... far from good but the pain was manageable. Felt a slight pop when getting out of the reclyner this morning, don't know if it was a suture or some skin glue letting loose. I'm trying to be so careful but its so hard to get up and out of a chair or sofa without straining.I am swollen all over, even my legs.... didn't even look at my tummy until day 3 morning.... very please with how I look however knowing I'm still waaaaay swolloen. Feeling better each day....

I have one scheduled for April 30th and I'm so incredibly nervous, I'm thinking about canceling. Some of the stories on here are CRAZY! I'm so worried about the scar and complications. Is anyone else having major anxiety? T.

Yes, I had the same type of anxiety. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. I pray about it everyday. I have 4 children so being there for them is one of my main concerns. Just continue to pray. There are alot of good stories on here, and support. I think everybody on here had the same worries and concerns. Actually my anxiety was worst when I scheduled it vs now. I think for me, I use to always say I am so sick of this stomach if I can get rid of it I will. Not ever thinking that I would have the extra money to actually follow up with my thoughts, so now that I am I kind of think its unbelieveable. I try to have good thoughts, and keep telling myself I will be okay during the surgery and recovery will be just as good. Hope this make you feel better.

I had it also. It is an anxiety provoking procedure but in a few weeks you will never remember the pain but you will enjoy the pleasure of looking better

I definetely dont have a flat belly:( I still have tummy that sits on my pants. When I asked my P.S, he said he is very cautious and did not remove much fat from the upper tummy area, although the lower part is taken off, it is not showing a huge difference. Varnerific, let me know what your P.S says, I am very impressed with your tummy though. I am planning on asking him to do a mini lipo although I am not sure how long I need to wait to get one done or if it is even a possibility. Also, does anyone have an issue with public mound, mine shows bulging in my gym clothes.

Hi everyone. It's been 6-7 months since we all had our TT. How is everyone doing. I'm going back for my 6 month appt on Wednesday and I'm really unhappy with the way my sides are turning out. It looks ridiculous. I really think he should have done an extended TT and extended the incision more to the side towards the back. What do you guys think? I just posted 2 new pics.

I'll say doing great. I finally posted my before and after pic's. I'm back to my everyday routine with the kids, hubby and workouts. I too have a 6mth app for a check in to see how things are coming along but to also take care of the point on have on my left hip. I put up a pic so you can see. I'll post an after pic when that heals. One of my sides is longer than the other and I don't think that makes a differene in your case (but that is my opinion). I did take a look at your pics, I have a question for you, can you pinch that or grab that extra with your hand? Cause you might only need to do is an oblique & lower back workout to help that. I hope I don't upset you by telling you this. Take care

June TT for Me
30 Oct 2012
I know it's a long way away but I'm planning to have a full TT, muscle repair, and lipo of my back, hips, flanks and thighs sometime in late April of 2013. I just had a breast reduction on August 17 2012. Paid -0- for the BR. I love my results. It actually cut out what I thought was sleep apnea and heartburn. I had no idea that my boobs were actually choking me. They're small now but I love em. My belly is much more noticeable since the BR. It was noticeable before the BR and was the reason I went to see my ps when he recommended a BR to start. BR done and now I'm prob gonna have to sell my SUV to get this done but I'm sick of that gas hog anyway. Estimate for 2013 surgery is 10,500. I am saving every penny I can get my hands on and dieting. I just wanted to check in and introduce myself to the April group. One question: I would like to book a vacation for the week of July 4 will have surgery somewhere around April 28. That would put me at 8-9 weeks PO leaving to go on vacation for a week. What do you think? Is it going to make for a miserable vacation? Should I be planning for a fall vacation instead? I felt good at 8 weeks PO after the BR but not sure about so soon after a TT.

I had my TT on April 24 and went on vaca June 19 (so 8wkspo). I felt great and was cleared to swim, exercise, and wear a bikini. So I dont think you should put off your vaca keep it scheduled. I had a wonderful time on vaca, if I felt tired I just took a nap or took it easy. I didn't try to over due anything. What also helps is being in shape thats the one advantage my doctor told me. Because I was in shape I would have a better recovery. Hope that helps and lots of luck to you and coming over to the flat side. :-)

Well ladies, I went for my 8wk po check up yesterday and it went well. I was cleared to do my p90x workout at a 100%, I can go swimming and everything else. I was so over joyed cause we leave for vaca tomorrow and I'm dying to wear my bikini. My doctor also said how great I was progressing that she normally doesn't take pictures at this stage but because she sees no need for me to come back until the fall why not. So I dont go back til November. Now the look I have is small body and big boobs (36DD) I am loving how everything is feeling/looking. I went from a size 14/12(to hide the extra skin/bump) to a 6 and lost 20lbs since the surgery. Keep eating right ladies, it's well worth it in the end!! So I hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying their summer. Take care ladies.

Hi ladies... Seems as tho we all died off the forum... I hope everyone is enjoying thier new flat tummies... I actually wore a 2 piece to the beach.. I felt so good. Seems as tho my breasts look even bigger with a flatter tummy... I am thinking of maybe getting a lift in the near future. I am a 36 DD right now. I love my size and dont want that to change. Well maybe a full D. My husband thinks I am crazy for wanting to go back under the knife. My tummy tuck expierence was not too bad at all. It was tolerable. Dont get me wrong it did hurt but I would do it all over again if I had to.... I am doing all the same research that I did on tummy tucks with Mastopexy/Breast Lift. I have been watching videos and it is something I am interested in. But it will be a few years before I do anymore plastic surgery. Since I treated myself to a tummy tuck this year.. I'm thinking maybe a family cruise next year... I want to show off my new tummy too... LOL

Well, at my 7 1/2 weeks and still have a seroma. I get it drained each week. I feel fine, but still am wearing the garment and binder. Cant wait to breathe. I wonder when i can have free reign to exercise and play golf. BTW, I am very happy that I can wear my clothes and the roles of age, etc. do not show.

Hi girls.. My incision finally closed all up. No more seeping. Thank goodness. I was going crazy thinking it would never heal. I go back to see my PS today because he had to make a small incision and pull a stitch out that wasnt desolving that is why my incision wouldnt close all the way. But I went jet skiing last weekend and I did okay. I didnt fall off or anything so I was good. I wasnt too sore but did feel my abs the next day...So much fun by the way. I still get swollen during the day/evening when I dont wear my spanks but otherwise doing very well.. I am going back to zumba this week which is exciting.

Hello Ladies... I had my TT with Lipo and MR on April 3rd, 2012. Doc gave me the ok to start Zumba next week. I am so excited. I have put on about 10 lbs since surgery. I am still swollen and tight in the ab area. I have a few pinholes in my lower incision which just wont stop leaking little droplets of blood. No infection. I am keeping it covered with triple antibotic cream and sterlie dressings. Do you think I should stop covering it and maybe they will just dry up and heal? Any one else have this problem??? I am 8 weeks and 4 days PO

OMG I gained 10 lbs too! I feel flabby and weak but everyday is getting better and I've lost 5 of 10 so far. My incision has healed very well but I too still get swollen and the muscles get sore easily. It seems like you should be all healed up too, have you called your PS?
