Whats with this new realself site makeover? Got my 2nd drain out today and the tape off my incision-I thought there would be stitches, but apparently he put the dissolvable kind in. I asked him about calories and he said 1200-1800 daily. I'll stick to 1200 I guess. Still hunched over and in pain:( Happy to read that other April TTers are doing so well! I'd be lost without all of the support on this site!

Hi ladies! I am alive and well. Last night was pretty rough, not so much the pain, but I was dealing with gas and it was making me feel nauseous. I finally burped a million times and felt better. I then realized i should take 2 vicodin, not just 1 (as the bottle says either or). I have only had yogurt and cookies LOL My PS told me to eat 'real' food instead of soups at first. I was too tired to eat much of anything.

Would you believe that my drains are not filling up already? Last night i had maybe 30 cc in each and 8 hours later only 1 had anything it was about 12cc.

Hi iam so glad you are doing good and happy with the results!!!I had my TT and BL, BA an the 14 of april OOOOOOUH! it hurts when you caugh or sneeze or move oh boy!. of course like every body else Iam dealing with the backache the swallowing but a hospital bed was a life saver. I have an issue thow in the center of my belly on top of my pubic area i feel like a hard bomp is anybody experiencing this? or I forgot to mention I had a lipo on my pubic area also. please if somebody know something in this particular subject let me know! thank you

Well had my surgery on the 7th. Had tummy tuck and BA and lift. I love the results so far. I weigh less than I did when I had the surgery but am VERY swollen still. Had been doing better but had to start back to work yesterday and sitting upright has me swelling quite a bit. I have a lot of back ache due to not being able to stand up straight yet. I am getting closer and closer but still have to hunch. The girls have responded well to massage and they look wonderful. My belly button is adorable - never had a cute one before. Still wearing the same size clothes though because of the swelling. It is mainly around the incision but creeps up through the day while upright. I hate the compression garments but when I have them off to shower (have to leave them off for a while after showering so the scabs can dry otherwise they get pulled off and I bleed or seep during the day) I cannot wait to get them back on, they definitely make me feel better. I have to say the only thing that irritates me is the hubby is impatient and talks all the time about me trying on this or that. I do not feel like that yet LOL. I just want to lay on the couch and nap. He has taken good care of me though so I guess I can let it slide hehehehe.

Yea if I weren't so close to the date of surgery I would make a drink and cheers to all of us soon to be even sexier April mommy makeovers! How exciting

Hi Ladies, I had my pre-op today. Filled out a bible's worth of paperwork, had to take before pictures and get some blood drawn and basic blood pressure and weight check. I am told most of this will occur day of as well. I have 12 days before surgery. We are not sure on the time, just that it's on the 27th. I believe someone else is getting surgery that day, but not a MM, just either a TT or BA, so I am sure i may be first, at least I hope so LOL.

I have a long list of what we can not take or eat the 1-2 weeks before surgery. I have also been instructed to wash with either lever soap or dial soap the week before surgery. I will try to make a review including any thing that some of you ladies may want to know that perhaps you don't already know.

I'm home. It went well. Pain is a 1 if I'm in the recliner. An 8 if I move. Mainly from one of the drains. It's quite uncomfortable, and burns if it gets tweaked.

Im having my tummy tuck and a breast augmentation on April 28th!!! I need to know what advise have you heard for a speeding recovery? Im sooooooo ready but soooo scared!!!

Hi All. Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Today is the first day I feel like Im recovering. The other days were rough. Everyone is different and felt some frustration that I felt as bad as I did for 5 days. Enough said about that. Today is a whole new day and feeling much stronger. Im able to eat with out pain and am once again finding the humor in my friends and visitors jokes. I tried on a bikini this morning and not ready for VS swim suit cover yet but I definitely see progress. I have a lot of swelling which I expected. Taking arnica. Does anyone find this helps with swelling. Also any recommendations for a stage 2 garment.

Hi ladies, I got my hospital bed today not bad, clean and comfy.So Iam almost ready, I had my hair done, manicure, pedicure, a facial. It's weard it's like I'm going on vacation????? very weard feeling?. Anyway I am not scared anymore I feel peacefull. Thank you for being with me I wish all a good luck in your surgery and I will let you know how things are on the 14th, god bless.Samia

My surgery is April 20th. Im having a Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift. My doctor didin't say anything about a liquid diet but it sounds like a good idea. What are good protein shakes to drink?
