Hi there!
Can anyone recommend a good organic skin care cream for dry skin? I'm 34 years old and starting to show some fine lines around the eyes and mouth. I'm especially interested to hear if anyone has experience using the Annique rooibos skin care products. I've been drinking rooibos (red bush) tea for many years, and just found out that skin care products containing rooibos is now available in the United States
Thx

I don't know if you have found anything that you like but I have a certified organic skin care line that is fantastic! I have been using it for 6 months and am thrilled with how my skin looks and feels and I am really happy that I am no longer putting chemicals on my skin. I am 49 and very concerned with how my skin looks. Since I have been using this skincare line I get compliments constantly. My skin looks great - smooth, even texture, reduction in redness, wrinkles and lines. I would probably recommend the Rejuvenessence line - especially the Rejuvenessence Facial Serum.

i am really familiar with organic skin care products and the one you mentioned is a complete mystery.
Portland, oregon based Talulah Skincare by Nicole Maust is very highly regarded for its organic botanicals and plant extracts. As stated on the Talulah website

I assure you I don't work for the company. very legit products that's growing major cred. in the organics skincare market.

Im a beauty therapist in London and i've started hearing really good things about a line called Eminence Skin Care. They use only organic ingredients in their lines and they are rich in anti-oxidants which is vital in skin care products. Another line I really like Juice Beauty - a 100% organic line that I often recommend to Clients. Ive heard its very popular in the States...

as said by the above poster, juice beauty and eminence organics seem to be quite popular. i have used juice beauty and soon to use eminence, but i find juice beauty ineffective for my skin type, but i have read soooo many rave reviews on this line...and caved in and bought their apple peel, which is ok, not great. but ppl have said that the morning after using this, their skin looked more radiant and plump.
another brand that u might want to look into is aubreys organics- their products are reasonably priced and the shipping cost seems to be quite low. i havent bought from them, but in other forums, i have read some good reviews on their products in general and the fast shipping. however, one poster complained about the slow pace of the order and that she didnt even recieve it, and aubreys didnt refund her her money back as she didnt pay for insurance postage, which was in the small prints.

forgot to say...u should use organc products within a year of purchase and be careful if ur gonna buy from ebay, cos read that they sell products that are pass (or soon reaching) its expiry date

Hi! I wanted to add that Kiss My Face products are amazing. I especially love their Mint and Jojoba Organic facial scrub. The scrub is deeply exfoliating, but manages to be gentle enough for daily use, and it doesn't leave my skin looking raw and red after use, like most scrubs do! Their products are sold at Whole Foods and at most natural food stores, and they are affordable. If you want less of an exfoliant and more of a face wash, try their 'Start-up' facial cleanser.

I luv my aubrey organics SPF 25 natural sun.
Green tea ingredient + organic jojoba oils.
got it for my bare arms for sun protection {freckles are becoming sunspots, ughh} but to make sure my baby's skin doesnt get in contact w/ harmful chemicals.

Try Juice Beauty -- many of their products are available at Whole Foods. I've been trying to find an organic lip balm with sunscreen that didn't taste horrible (like Aveda's lip balm, which cost me $9 at an Aveda store for a _single_ tube!) Juice has a 3-pack of lip balm that actually tastes good and contains only titantium dioxide for SPF 15, so it doesn't have the chemical aftertaste of most lip balms. It cost me $15 for 3 tubes, or $5/tube, and it's totally worth it.
Their Green Apple face peel is also nice.

i am looking into organics now...and went wild at whole foods...and bought a skin care with a funky name called organic apoteke...a bit expensive compared to the others but i am real impressed with the difference its made....so all my girl friends say (but they would anyway!)
i tried buttermilk cleanser & the eye cream.
worth testing/sampling when yer next in whole foods....i suggest Do not buy...try it first and feels good on your skin

Stella McCartney's organic gentle cleansing milk is fab. use it everyday to remove makeup & grime (luv city livin!). I'll check out wholefoods beauty aisle next time i'm getting a snack.

sorry I can't offer too many organic prod recommendation but I'll say I was confused by the comment that Origins is organic. Origins has just 2 products that are organic. Nourishing oil for face is one of them. Don't confuse "natural" for "organic"

My friend who is a beauty product guru told me that you can't beat an organic skin care line called Red Flower.
Have you heard of this? I can't find it!

Try Zia Natural or Jason Natural, both are available at Whole Foods. I love Zia's masks and Jason's toothpaste.

I have tried Talulah skin care sample kit for acne/oily skin and LOVE it. I've recently purchased the full size products. I really just have an oily t-zone but this product is the best I've tried.

Hi there,
I love the Annique skin care line. I love it so much that I am now launching the line in Canada! I first started using the rooibos line on my daughter who had skin allergies. I saw results immediately so I decided to try the woman's line. It is full of antioxidants without all the chemicals and it truly works. I really hope that you start using the Annique line.

I love red flower. My sister-in-law introduced me to the brand with their Japanese Peony scented body lotion, and I was hooked. Search "red flower" and you will find that their products are now sold from their own website! The first time I tried to order directly from the red flower site, it was brand new and didn't work very well. I have also ordered it from Beauty Habit. The only retail store that I know of is in NYC.

I have test marketed both Tahlulah and Organic Apoteke and Tahlulah for me did not live up to my standards. I was not impressed with their products. Organic Apoteke, on the other hand was very impressive and effective. With all organic lines, you must give them time to work.

I really recommend Green People's Fruitful Nights as a night cream. It works really well on my skin and smells yummy too - a nice bonus!
They have some other moisturisers too, as well as lots of other natural skin care stuff.
Take a look at www.greenpeople.co.uk for more info (sorry, don't know how to hyperlink on this).

I like Clare Ledor products - she has wonderful stuff - I use her anti-acne aging moisturizing cream - super ingredients, totally nongreasy and leaves your skin smooth. All natural too. I've switched to other things but always go back to hers.
