Hey Jusi, thanks for your reply. But WOW, that's great to know! I was so terrified of the thought of gaining weight in unlipoed areas for ppl who eat healthy and exercise regularly. I personally don't know anyone who's had any of these procedures which has been quite difficult for me, so again, thanks for your input. And yes, this is why I want to proceed with a liposuction, I have stubborn fat deposits that have been very difficult to vanish away with proper diet and nutrition in the past 2 years =( I need this so bad, and knowing that there are females out there that I can relate to is extremely encouraging for me. Thanks Jusi, I can't wait!

Hey Carol, I do have friends who had lipo with him and Cat has friends who had tt with him and they are all happy with their results. My friends were about one and two years ago. The thing about gaining weight will only happen in areas not lipoed only if they all of a sudden start eating and eating etc of course you'll gain weight, but Not if they continue to eat healthy or even if they don't eat healthy but were not over eaters what I'm saying is if you have a stable weight with just stubborn fat areas and continue to eat the way you are now you'll be just fine. The only way said by doctors here that you can gain some weight in lipoed areas is if you gain a large amount of weight. I don't know anyone who has had this procedure and gain weight in lipoed areas. I also have many friends and family who has had this procedure in DR and are all happy with their results and have not gain weight in lipoed areas and it's been years for them. My sister has two friends who also did lipo with him but it's been 9 months for one and 7 for the other. What they told me is that when you hit the 4 to 6 months you will see a big difference and you'll finally start seeing your final results. All the best!

Hi gals, I am scheduled to have lipo (full back, abdomen, inner thighs and arms) with Dr. Yager in July. But so unsure about the after result (years after). I live a healthy lifestyle, and exercise 3-5x a week but have extremely stubborn fat in the areas mentioned above... I've read various stories online of women that have had weigh gain in un-lipoed areas of their bodies and some in lipoed areas too, and some of these females claim to eat extremely healthy and very active in the gym prior and after lipo procedures. This has scared me big time! I don't want that to be me!
Do any of you know of anyone else who has had successful or unsuccessful lipo results with this doctor or any other doctor, like ppl who have similar procedures like yourselves or what im scheduled to do. I wish I personally knew of ppl who had procedures with him like at least 3 years ago or more even, and to know if there have been any negative body changes in the long run. Any input would be greatly appreciated. By the way, congrats to all of you and your new bods!

Hi. How much did you pay for the breast augmentation? I have a consultation with him next week.

Hi, I have a consultation for TT next month. Does Dr Yager perform his procedures in a hospital and do you stay overnight after a TT. Are there any updates on ladies who have done a TT with Dr Yager? Thanks:)

Hi Miosy, Dr. Yager performs his procedured in a surgery center not a hospital. After a tt you go home. You can speak to a couple of girls in this thread or the other thread created by Cat in new york. They already had tt with Yager.

Hi Unique, I am post op day #7 from a TT with Dr Y. I am an RN & am super critical about medical practices, but found Dr Y to be very professional & conservative (which is a good thing), Word of mouth speaks volumes, & I know several people who had TT's done with him & all are thrilled with their results. His staff is wonderful, friendly, knowledgable & efficient.
Tips for post op: get a cane, people on this site suggested elevated toilet seats & medical recliners. I had neither & it was no problem. Supply your medicine cabinet with Colace, Xtra stregnth Tylenol & Gas X. I also took Bromelain & Arnica pre & post op.
I put all my meds in a small shopping bag & kept it by my side. Stick a notepad & pen in it to monitor drainage & also to write when you take meds.
I've had previous abdominal surgery as well as a C/S. The difference with a TT is that you can stand or walk upright which puts tremendous strain on your back. The binder that you wear 24/7 is annoying & constricting. I am more uncomfortable, then I am in pain.
Keep your focus on the Big Picture, a flat stomach. Make sure you have a good support system in place who will be patient & helpful.
Hope this helps.

One BIG typo!! That should say the difference is that you CAN'T stand or walk upright!!!

I too recomend all the supplies Shoshan posted, Arnica, Bromelain, Gax, Colace and the extra strengh Tylenol. I also took 1000mg of vitamin C and Tylenol PM for those nights you can't fall asleep.

Hey ladies I went to yager with many things in mind but he claims that all I need is a tt so i'm scheduled for May, I hate surgeries. Can someone share their post op experience, I have small kids and I need to know for how long will I need the help.

Hi Unique, my post experience was a lil stressful but I didn't do a tt so to better answer your questions and concerns you can contact Cat in New York she's currently recovering from a tt. As far as Dr. Yagers staff and experience there I'm very pleased. My only complaint is I don't see him in my post op appointments, however Anita is pretty good.
