Raised scars around the nostrils after alar reduction

I had my primary rhinoplasty 21 days ago.My doctor is away for 2 weeks.I had nostrils reduction.I tend to do keloids which I told my doctor but was told it doesnt happen around the nostrils.2 days ago, little raised bumps started to appear around my nostrils on going inside my nose,all around where the incision where made. I am afraid it is the start of keloids.I applied dermatix cream but afraid it may irritate my fresh scars. I bought a cream called Cortate that has cotizone.Are those bumps normal 21 days later? should I be concerned.

Hi Heather, Call your surgeon's office and be evaluated by the doctor who is covering. Cortisone cream should not hurt your wound. Good luck. Dr. P
