If I'm understanding correctly, you are asking if the implants need to be replaced down the road, after reconstruction. If that is correct, here are some Q&A's that could be helpful in answering that question:

How Long Do Breast Implants Last?

Replace Breast Implants Every 10 Years?

Breast Implants After Lumpectomy and Radiation?

Here are some specifically about insurance coverage:

Will Insurance Cover Implant Exchange under Cancer Mastectomy Reconstruction? Is Procedure Realistic?

Will Insurance Pay to Have Breast Implants Removed After Breast Cancer?

Hopefully some other ladies in the community will be able to share their actual experiences with this as well.
