What can be done for acne scarring on the back?

I'm a 27 year old female. It's been almost ten years since I've been to a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon to see what could be done for me, and I was plainly told "nothing, live with it." I'm hoping the answer has changed since then. ??
I'm not sure if my scars are considered ice pick, or raised. When my skin is strectched tight they look like divets in the skin, but when I turn or move the skin they look raised and much worse. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank You.

Is there a treatment available for acne scars on the back? I had gone to a plastic surgeon approximately 10 years ago to see if there was anything that could be done about the acne scars on my back. He told me there wasnt. I know that fraxel and some others are new since that office visit, so I'm wondering if technology has evoloved to the point to where I may have some hope to be rid of this deformity.
