90 day challenge -changing your physic before the tuck!!! A place for diet, exercise, and motivation!!!!
By sexysoulsister on 03 Jun 2012
Ok ladies if you haven't started let's come together and support each other to re-shape our bodies before the surgery!!!! I'm in the LEAN phase of the Chalene Extreme and it is brutal!!!! But it is worth it and I'm seeing results!!!! My goal is to shed about 40lbs before the tt. I'm eating between 1800-2000 calories per day but I'm burning between 3000-3200 calories per day. In addition to the weight loss I'm shooting for no to no lipo so, I'm pumped about getting rid of the back fat and arms. What are you doing, what are your goals, what are you eating? I tried the Nutrisystem,. It worked but the salt content was too high. I'm now using Weight Watchers for accountability, but before both of these programs I just ate healthy and counted calories. So what's up???Anyone got any good butt exercises???
Keep going ladies!!! You can do it!!!
I can't wait to hear from you PO sexysoulsister!!!
In ten days or so we will have finished our 90 day challenge. My surgery date is next Mon the 27th. Even though I didn't reach the goal of 40 I lost somewhere between 20-25 lbs -home scales or ww. My body looks a whole lot better pre surgery and I've made a few tt friends along the way. I will try to post next Mon to day hi at least. Maybe sometime between now and the 30th you ladies will post your results to encourage others who drop by.
I've finally posted the dreaded before pics.
Anyway if all goes well I will see check in after surgery. Keep pushing ladies!!!
How's it going? I'm down about1.5 this week. Sill burning about 3100 calories plus with my calorie consumption now at 2000. I did have a couple of days were I went off slightly and shared a meal with family and friends. I still count calories because one weekend can ruin a whole weeks effort.
The belly is really squishy and soft...the squishier and softer it is the more the ps can pull the tummy and get flatter results. So keep it up, it may not show on the scale but more than likely you are loosing inches and putting on muscle. More muscle is always good!!!
My tt is 2 weeks from now and I am pumped and excited!!! A by-product of this challenge is not only do I look better I feel better as well...I feel stronger, more powerful, and ready to take on the next phase of life. To add to the mix I've been getting catcalls from men half my age. Muscles are sexy ladies make sure you get your share!!!!
If you haven't already buy that sexy dress or those tight jeans. Hang it up somewhere very visible to inspire you to continue after the tuck.
This 90 day challenge came at the perfect time to capture the spirit of the Olympics. Use that energy to propel you across the finish line and stay true to your goals.
Have a great week ladies!!!Off to Zumba!
@SexySoulSister--our time is getting closer and closer.....
@Sexysoulsister --you are doing your thing girl, can you believe we only have a few weeks left till the FLATSIDE!!??
I lost 3 lbs last week yay!!! Getting closer to my goal but I will be happy for any loss. Also had my pre-op, purchased my meds today, and bought a few supplies.
Would love to take advantage of Nordstrom's pre-sale but I don't know what size I'll be after the tt. I plan to continue my exercise/eating routine focusing on really tightening up my thighs, butt, etc.
How u ladies doing?
Sorry for the late post. I usually do this after WW but I became distracted, missed my meeting and everything seemed to be off an hour all day long. Well last week was great, I lost a total of 3 lbs...yay!!!!
I have 35n= days before my TT and I'm really starting to get excited. Time is flying by fast.
Keep going Ladies I'm shooting for 10+ pounds but will be happy with what ever I can do. I'm working on shaping this body before the tuck so that I can get better results. I can see the weight dropping from the belly finally but some of the other areas are wiggly too.
The doc and some of the ladies here told me after the tuck you are able to see weight loss results faster in other areas. So now I'm focusing on my thighs and arms.
Can anyone feel their muscle separation?
I can't wait either. I'm glad that someone else can feel the muscle separation too.
I am so happy for you, Just six more sleeps!!!
I'm down about a pound, so I'm pretty happy! If I lose three more pounds by the 30th, I'll have reached my goal, but seeing how slow it is to come off (which I know is a good thing) I'm not going to sweat it if I don't. Still, I'm going to do all I can to make it happen. I'm going to KEEP GOING!!! YOU TOO!!! :)
I'm still kickin' ass and I've come a long way in the course of a little less than a year!!! The scales will eventually get there but the body is shaping up. Here is a little before and after shot of my shoulders after completing the Chalene Extreme 90 day challenge. (Sorry for the blurry before shot!)
I AM determined and I'm going to add a little core specific training to the mix. I can feel abs in my upper belly!!! Any suggestions?
(I'm going to re post on the 90 day challenge in the forum area.)
I go in two weeks from today so I'm doing a big push this week. I'm still not seeing dramatic results but I know all this working out and monitoring diet has to be doing some good even if the numbers don't reflect that. Leaner, tighter and fit for surgery is my goal. Also, the exercise helps calm my nerves, which are a little twitchy today with nervousness!!
Sometimes it's hard for us to see the improvements in our own bodies. But do believe there are visible changes occurring. You are also right about getting in shape prepares you for the surgery and better healing. Leaner and tighter is always good. Take plenty of photos to track your progress! And KEEP GOING!!!!
Be sure that any time you do plan a trip, study up and get facts on the location you will be going in. You have to know what sort of edible plants there are. What kind of animals inhabit there? Are there animals of prey, like bear or mountain lion, or even wolves? Are there snakes, and how numerous different species, and are they venomous or not? What sort of insects or spiders are there, and are they venomous? Undertaking items like this is all aspect of survival, and this can be a fantastic mastering and training experience. You may under no circumstances know when some thing undesirable could come about, so you should be ready for the worse. Don't forget, this really is only a practice survival trip and not a real one particular, but should you don't strategy it effectively, it could go awfully wrong for you personally and turn in to a actual life survival scenario.
Elk are the most abundant substantial mammal that can be found in Yellowstone National Park. Huge herds could be observed grazing within the open fields throughout the summer time months and smaller numbers can be identified all through the park 12 months out of your year. The animals have largely lost their fear of humans (possibly on account of their protected status inside the park) and are typically identified about homes, in campgrounds, or just laying around the government buildings. Yellowstone National Park just isn't just for viewing the big wildlife. The smaller native creatures are just as abundant. The park is full of badgers, river otters, weasels, a number of varieties of rabbits. shrews, beaver, and so significantly much more. In case you can consider a North American tiny mammal, you'll be able to almost certainly spot one particular within the park - though you will discover probably some you'd just as soon NOT encounter. Most national parks offer some chances to see wildlife, but Yellowstone National Park provides several distinctive possibilities that happen to be not offered any exactly where else inside the world. For the ultimin wildlife viewing, take among the list of park's safaris or wildlife tours.
