Is 55 too old to have a tummy tuck?

I am very scared of the possibilty of fatal blood clots after surgery.

I'm 54 and had a TT in December. Doctor said I was in his top 10% of best healing patients. If you are healthy and motivated there is no reason not to.

I'm 53 & just had a tt. If you're in good health 55 is not too old.

Just had mine on the 7th of march and dr. removed last drain today. Turned 60 in Jan. and my progress is amazing! I also asked the same question "am I too old". My stomach is beautiful! Just as tight as someone in their 20's! Go for it & I promise you will not regret it as long as you are in good health.

Absolutely not!   You run risks with any surgery so please don't let that scare you off.
