Is it possible to go from a 34G to a 32C?

By Jessica G's on 11 Jul 2011

I just happened to come across this website and I am very glad I did. I am 5'5, 160lbs with one child. I currently wear a 34G, because my right breast is larger. Sine I really am a 32, I cant buy strapless bras, due to spilling over if I wore the 32G. I have lost about 30lbs in the last couple years and my breast size has not changed a bit. I have neck and shoulder problems and been wanting a reduction for years. I have a consultation scheduled in about a week. I am really praying that my insurance will cover my proceedure and really would love to be a full 32C. Is it possible to go from a 34G (right breast bigger) and become a full 32C, so I can wear strapless bras's that fit me?

It is on tomorrow ladies. I am excited I can't sleep through the night. The pre-op went well and I am confident in my PS to get me to a C cup. Talk to you guys later.

I am so ready. I lay in bed every night thinking how my life will be different after this surgery. All the times I complained about my big boobies will be gone.

Hi jessica, I went from a 32ff to a 34c (the band difference is due to different brand than I used to buy Im sure) and im only 3 weeks post op! Tube tops and going braless all the way!!!!

That sounds wonderful. I hope I have the same outcome. The PS told me that it shouldn't be a problem going down to a C cup. Can't wait:)

I work for the Department of the Army, so no tube tops without a jacket:) I have to leave my tube tops for the weekends. My co-workers are trying to come up with a good nick name for me now.

Hmmm...nicknames huh? How about Perky!

Thanks everyone. I will do my reviews after surgery. I am so excited that I am getting on my man and my co-workers nerves. My man says, I have never seen someone so excited about getting a breast reduction. I told my co-workers, I am never wearing a real shirt again, ONLY TUBE TOPS :) I might wear a bra, LOL!

So funny, Jessica! I hope you aren't a junior high teacher if you are going to wear tube tops every day :-)
But it is totally worth getting that excited about!!

Ahh well I wish you all the best. Add the difficulty in getting a bra, to the neck and shoulder ache when you go to the consultant.

I went yesterday to see a PS and it went well. He said I would be a great candidate because I am still young and my breast have a lot of dense. I had to sit down with the lady that writes the letter to the insurance company. I gave her the history of back, neck and shoulder complaints. She did my BSA and I need 680mg removed to by medical. I am still keeping my fingers crossed, the doctor said that they have a good track record on getting the insurance to pay for proceedure:)

Have you tried a 32 GG which would fit better round your chest and give a cup big enough for the overflow!

Having said that I do think that BR would be good to go from G to C? whatever the chest measurement.

:-)

Thanks for the advice. I guess I will have to order that size bra online. Have a hard enough time finding 34G's in stores:) I am keeping my fingers crossed for next weeks consultation.

Sounds odd to me. In the UK the 32 and 34 measurement is the chest measurement (ie under your boobs) and hence that would either be 32 or 34 but would not change as a result of a BR.

What BR should do is make them both the same cup size so buying strapless etc is easier.

Maybe someone else has a different opinion but that is mine!

I know it sounds odd, but everytime I go for a bra fitting they tell me I am a 32G. Then I put the bra on and the right breast is spilling over, so they give me a 34G. The problem that I have then, is that I have to put it on the closese clasp to fit my body. 32 bands fit properly, but the cup is to small. I just want to have the perfect fit and stop the neck and shoulder strains.
