I am so excited and nervous. Can't wait until may 31st so that I can move forward with the next chapter in my life. I've purchased almost everything I think I will need. Pads no wings. Gauze. Tape. Alcohol. Girdle panties suggested by my surgeon. A side table for the recliner. I need to grocery shop for low sodium foods so I won't swell like a sponge. Dresses because I can't imagine pants. Tylenol pm. Any more suggestions anyone?

I have been wear my yoga Capri pants and a button up shirt everyday and I am very comfortable. And a toilet seat riser is a good idea. I am so glad I had it.

I got low sodium soups and salt free crackers but have hardly touched either. I don't know what it is, everything seems so strong tasting to me, so the soups, I would take two sips and be done. And then my mouth was sooooo dry for days I couldn't handle the crackers! So, don't get too much in til you see how you are. I have been living in soft, loose dresses too. I admit I got in two muumuus because they open at the front!

Anyone getting pains in their legs from maybe flexing their foot too much when in bed? I walked a total of 6 times today very little cause i get out of breath and back hurts too much but this leg pain comes on and off. I'm petrified of not moving my legs when im awake.

I haven't had leg pains yet. Like cramps? My back is killlller though from walking hunched over so much.

I think I have a seroma above the left side of my incision. :-/ I'm going to put a call into my ps tomorrow. In better news, I took a pic (which I'm about to upload) of me in one of my favorite pairs of underwear, and I wa s SO happy with what I saw! I know I'm pretty straight through the sides, but I don't expect to end up curvy as I've never had a curvy figure.

Embarrassing but has the antibiotics given anyone a yeast infection yet? I think I have one. Sending my poor hubby to walgreens tonight to pick up some monistat.

My doc warned me about them although I didn't need the warning as I get them frequently. Eat some yogurt! :-)

Yes!! I've never had one in my life and I was so petrified because I had no clue what the heck was going on. I tried OTC then the one day pill from my doctor. Finally after almost a week I'm feeling better. I was so miserable. Hang tight!

I got one 4 dpo and called my ps.. they prescribed that miracle pill (forget name) and it was gone in a day.

I ate tubs if yogurt and it did nothing to help.. the real good kind too.
texican 21 May 2013
It isn't awful so I hope it is a mild infection and the OTC stuff works. I am also eating lots of yogurt.

I didn't get any antibiotics, but I get yeast infx when I do. But guess what I do have! An oral yeast infx! What the heck! My tongue even bled yesterday. Ugh. Gross.

My TT is just nine days away. May 29 th isn't far. Today I received a phone call from my PS nurse and she moved my surgery time to 6 am , so I could have more recovery time. I was elated but my heart skipped a beat. I am just so ready for this to be done and over with. On Friday I am to start washing with the surgery wash, which will be five days before my surgery. So lets review TT with MR and lipo if necessary .
