Hello I'm 20 days post TT. Removal of the drains was VERY uncomfortable for me. Anyone else experience the same?

I had my drains out on PO day 6. I have to say that it did not hurt at all, it was mostly weird. I was so surprised by how long they were.

Id have to say that that has been the worst for me. It felt like a burning and pulling sensation as she pulled them out. Then it felt like I could feel the trail where they had been. Wouldn't necessarily call it pain but yucky feeling. It went away like in two days. Other than that, no other complaints.

Exactly what Jhowell said.....I was like "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit....then he did the other side!
lol....I asked why they dont numb ppl 1st and they stated bout time they numbed it it would be over:)

I had mine for 2 wks, they were coming out of my incision by my hips, when the nurse took out the right one apparently the tip was kidn of stuck I guess tissue was already growing around it so she had to pull hard and i felt like a snap and afterwards it was burning for by the next day the burning was gone, the other drain was ok....
