Hi all....I tried to post a question but it never showed. I see all these people that look so flat already at my time and I look so swollen and THICK is the only way I can describe it. I don't look or feel ANY smaller than i did before my - maybe its in my head.I look chubby is the only way I can describe- does it take some people just a longer? It doesn't seem like anyone else looks chubby in their pictures. I am 5'2" and I was about 128 and I weigh more now- which is depressing as well. Thank you

Kim525, I am 8 days PO and HUGE! I am addicted to the support on here, but the downside is seeing how fabulous some people look when I look like a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade! I understand how you feel. I expected to swell and lay low for 1-2 weeks, but I cannot hide out here forever. I have no idea what I will wear once I have to go out in public. Even yoga pants in size L are snug! I need to go places next week where yoga pants will not be appropriate. I honestly do not know what I am going to wear. I still have a drain too. I don't know how I will hide that either!

I havent had mine completed yet.. but I am an addict on this site and I have read A LOT. It seems like there is no rhyme or reason to the beginning stages of recovery. Some people swell up like balloons and others are wearing a smaller size jean! :) I think that patience is the key... maybe take pics once every week so you can compare one week to another? I see a lot of ladies say they cant tell the difference until they compare the pictures from one week to the next. I think the only thing you can count on is the unknown... and that you may not see final results for 3-6 months even. Hang in there!!
