What are the effects of injecting fat graft into a scar tissue? I have heard that fat is being used to treat wounds and scars.
Scars that are sunken (depressed) may benefit from fat grafting. An example of this is acne scars. It is important sometimes to release the scars (subcision) before injection the fat.
I would like to get scar subcision done, but was wondering if I can get it about a month after a Restylane injection? Would the filler make subcision less effective? What would happen if I did so?
I know that fillers after subcision is a good idea, but what if it is reversed? I got Restylane injected into my scars a week ago and I want to get subcision done in a month.
Is it possibile to get subcision done after a filler? Or should I wait 6 months or so for the Restylane to subside before I go on with subcision?
Subcision is likely to remove a portion of the Restylane during the procedure and is probably best to get the subcision first, then the Restylane.
