Cheek Filler or Mid Face Lift?

I am 31 years old. I have extremely hollow flat cheeks, hollow eyes, and now pre jowls and lots of new lines forming and dents on chin. My skin is very much lacking elasticity as it feels loose and no firmness. All of this happenend within 1 year (ever since I turned 30). I believe I have prematurely aged (8 to 10) years sooner than normal as I have been a smoker. I am extremely depressed about these changes. I used to have a heart shape face and now it looks long & flat, pre jowls. Help?

A: Cheek implants can help hollow and flat cheeks

Hollowness and flat cheeks are best treated with cheek implants placed in the gingival sulcus above the upper teeth through an intraoral incision. The implants are placed in the subperiosteal plane directly over the bone and patients are not able to feel them once they are in normal position. Expect approximately two weeks of bruising and swelling after the procedure.

With Nerves Swelling, Which Mid-facelift Method I Should Choose?

I have nurves swelling in my left ears area and which midface lift method is suitable for me? I am 52 yrs old.

A: Mid facelift options

The mid facelift method that we recommend is cheek implants to add volumetric restoration to the cheek area. We do not recommend the mid facelift because of the complications that can occur, including decreasing the size of the orbit and eyelids along with bunching mid face skin.

Permanent Solution for Marionette Lines, Drooping Cheeks and Jawline?

I'm 35 and am interested in addressing my mid/lower cheek and jawline/mouth areas for droopiness. I've had a downturned mouth with slight marionette lines my whole life. Now that I'm older, I now have deep under eye hollows and more sagging in the mid-face cheek/jawline areas.

I like the results I see from the liquid face lift photos, but are there any other procedures that would be a more permanent solution such as a mini-lift or cheek lift?

A: Lift and cheek implants can help drooping cheeks

A mini lift or cheeklift would be helpful to augment the cheek area and address sagginess in the cheek area. It helps minimally with the marionette lines and droopy cheeks. It does not help with the jawline.

An additional consideration would be cheek augmentation, which is the insertion of small Silastic implants over the maxilla through the intraoral route to augment the cheek area. They can be placed higher up in the malar area or down lower in the submalar area wherever the augmentation is needed. These are totally reversible and can be removed or replaced at any time and is an excellent solution to the cheek area.
