I had tumescent liposuction on my inner thighs while under general anaesthesia.I have since read that "Liposuction of the inner thighs with the patient lying on their back does not allow sufficient access to the fat on the posterior portion of the inner thighs which therefore is often insufficiently treated".The fat which is still on my inner thighs is in the posterior area. What can I do to fix this ASAP? I am devastated that my surgeon did not mention this to me before surgery!(2months post op)
The only role for liposuction in the inner thigh is conservative. I have seen at least 7 patients come to me after going elsewhere for aggressive inner thigh lipo who were basically destroyed for life because the thin poorly elastic skin (look at what you are pinching in your photo) doesn't shrink well and leaves a horrible loose, baggy, or scarred result. So maybe all you should do is try to smooth out the difference but don't try to get too aggressive here or you may well create a situation far more devsatating to you than what you have now.
It's been two months since I had a tummescent liposuction in my back area, arms and thigh lift as well, and I haven't seen any results. Ive been following all my surgeons instructions, I wore my garment for six weeks and I'm having ultrasonic cavitation, but i even fell more swollen. I've been told i gotta be patien to see the results after six months, but it's been two months and i look worse and bigger than I was before the procedure. Is this normal? I'm concerned.
You don't show us any photos nor tell us how much was sucked out but you should for certain see a result by 2 months. Make sure you have not gained weight because if you have, all bets are off.
Hi there, i have not had any babies yet, so i don't want to risk having breast reduction surgery, which may affect my ability to breast feed. I have heard that reductions can result alot more safely from liposuction, but won't this leave me with sagging breasts?
There are a couple of aspects to your question, one being that a breast reduction using current techniques has a good chance of preserving the ability to breast feed. Another is that overly large breasts sometimes impair the ability to breast feed so there is no guarantee that would would be successful anyway, though you should certainly be encouraged to try. A small amount of lipo on the breasts in a young person with good skin elasticity would work, but for most women considering a breast reduction there is too much tissue to remove in order for it to acheive a good result.
