If I decide to get this done can they maybe inject a little spot on my hand or somewhere before just to make sure I'm not allergic or going to have a reaction. I would hate for them to inject the lines around my lips then i have an allergic reaction exspecially somewhere noticable. Thank you for your time.
It used to be customary to test patients for collagen allergies but not so with Restylane. I have never seen an allergic reaction to Restylane but have had one or two patients ask me to do a skin test on them and then save the syringe (they paid for the full syringe before the test) and proceed with treatment a week later.
I had thermage done when I was 23 and I went from being full faced to looking quite gaunt. As a result, I think it took a toll the structured support under my eyes. If I get an injectable filler, such as restylane, could this help my tired-looking under eyes? Or should I just get a really good under eye cream? I'm only 25. Thanks!
Yes, hyaluronic fillers such as restylane can be used to build up the lost tissue volume of the lower lids to help hide the under eye bags you describe. The process of losing facial fat starts fairly early and can be sped up with weight loss.
The idea is to improve the soft tissue fullness which then improves the shadowing that occurs in the area.

Fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse can be a very good option for the under eye area particularly in younger patients. In this intstance it is correcting either volume loss such as you describe or simply facial structure. If you like the results then a longer-lasting option such as fat transfer might be considered once the filler has gone.
