Will This Liposonix Work on the Top of the Hip Area Just Below Waist at Back?

I have square hips and would love to have the hour glass shape. Will Liposonix work this area?

A: Pinch an inch for Liposonix

Liposonix is an FDA-cleared noninvasive technology that permanently removes localized fat with a single treatment. The subcutaneous fat in the treatment area needs to be at least an inch in thickness so if you can pinch an inch it might be a solution for you.

Liposonix: Hype or Reality?

Liposonix is already available in Europe and is promoting results. That people see permanent results in 8 to 12 weeks, you can reduce your waistline by about 2.8 cm, or one dress or pant size, after a single 1-hour treatment. Is this hype? As a medical expert, are you skeptical or optimistic? Are you planning to offer Liposonix in your practice?

A: Liposonix noninvasive body contouring is effective

Liposonix is an FDA-approved technology that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for permanent reduction of localized fat in a single treatment. The clinical development of the device took several years but it is now well-understood. For example, patients who were going to have a tummy tuck received Liposonix to the tissue that was later removed, in order to document the effects. Vaser Shape and other devices use unfocused ultrasound and does not destroy fat cells.

Is Liposonix a Good Alternative for Better Proportions?

I'm a 23 year old male 5'8" about 150-155 pounds. My stomach always looks a little pudgy. My waist is small but there have been times I've weighed less than 140 and still didn't see visible abs. It seems as though all my weight goes there. Also my face is thin and I don't want to get more gaunt. I want to avoid liposuction since the recover sounds long and difficult. I don't have much fat there so I just want to see if Liposonix or any other non-surgical method would be good for me. Thanks!

A: Liposonix is a good option for contouring the abdomen Liposonix is a noninvasive technology that uses focused ultrasound to permanently reduce localized fat in a single treatment. as the founding member of the medical advisory board of the company that developed the technology I can say that it works very well for the abdominal area.
