I had liposdiiolve performed to remove my "double chin". The needles did not hurt that bad, but a half hour later I was in intense pain. My neck was swollen more to the right. And now 10 days later the left side is healing but my right side had a lump right under my chin. It is too high to be the thyroid.
Lipodissolve is not FDA approved and unpredictable results and complications can occur. I don't know if your salivary gland was injured or if you got a hematoma, but I think your before picture looks just great and looks much better than the current afters. Hopefuly the swelling will resolve but I'd also advise seeing a qualified ENT surgeon.
I Had Lipodissolve on my Inner Thighs. After I Got Home I Felt Queasy. I Had a Small Piece of Bread. Within an Hour, I Had dinner. Almost immediately after I felt dizzy and faint. I proceeded to throw up until my stomach was empty. Then I was exhausted. Please give me your comments. This was the first of four treatments.
I just had a beautiful patient in the office the other day whose lateral thighs were destroyed by Lipodissolve. She went to another office and they did the procedure without even letting her go home and think about it. Red flag!!!! Then she proceeded to melt down to where she has skin scarred to the muscle and areas of excess fat in between. Horrible!!! I'll try to fix it a little but it will never be great! Careful with this as yet unproven treatment!!!
would lipo dissolve get rid of the flap of fat an skin caused by extreme edema during pregnacy,an a c/section at 36yrs old? I had my only baby at 36yrs old. I developed eclampsia in my 7th mth an as a result had 60pds of fluid weight which has left my tummy looking like a 90yr old with saggy, heavy tummy flap then had an emergency c/section which was done w/out any attempt to remove the massive amount of fat an strecthed out skin. I ve been unable to lose, tighten or improve my problem area sence the surgery in 2006.I have a severe multiple back injury an the added stress on my tummy is only making my injuries worse alot faster. What can I do safely?
From your description, the issues are all of the things that a tummy tuck helps and none of the things that lipodissolve has been proven to do. Since there is already a C-section scar, that should not be a deterrent. Lipodissolve may help with small and localized fat accumulations but is not a realistic alternative to a tummy tuck. It isn't risk-free either.
