Can Latisse Cause a Genital Herpes Outbreak?

I just started using Latisse and had a genital herpes outbreak around the same time (I haven't had an outbreak in 2 years). Are they correlated? or is it just coincidence?

A: Coincidence

If you had said that you had an outbreak of ocular herpes [yes, it does exist], then I would be somewhat concerned. But any correlation with genital herpes would be coincidence. It doesn't hurt to ask the Allergan customer service contact to see if there have ever been any other reports of this.

A: How much does Latisse Cost?

Latisse per package is $120 and should last you up to 4 months.  Allergan is great at doing promotions for Latisse such as buy 2 get 1 free, or you can register at Brilliant Distinctions online and get money back for every purchase you make through Allergan including Botox, Juvederm, and Vivite Skincare products.

How Long Does Latisse Last? Are Results Permanent?

If not, how long does the latisse results last?

A: Lasting results with Latisse

You will notice optimal lash length at the 12 week mark if you use it every night.  Most of our clients scale back to 3-4 times a week to maintain their growth.  As soon as you stop using it, your lashes will shed as they always do and your lashes will return to your "normal" lash length.  We have had patients use it for years without any major irritation or complications.  Good luck.
