Best Treatment for Adult Acne, Acne Scars and Sun Damage? I have mild acne scarring, large pores, adult acne and brown spots from sun damage. What is the best Laser treatment or peel to handle all of my issues?

A: Best Laser for Adult Acne, Scars and Sun Damage

In order to eliminate wrinkles, improve skin laxity, decrease sun damage, smooth acne scars and decrease age spots in a single treatment I would recommend Co2 laser resurfacing. We utilize Co2 laser from Lumenis (Active FX and Deep FX) and have had amazing results. Active FX concentrates on superficial wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation. DeepFX, in particular, targets the deep dermal layers of the skin, and provides exceptional results on deep wrinkles, scars, and lip lines. Total FX combines both Active FX and Deep FX for maximum results. CO 2 laser resurfacing penetrates into the dermis and stimulates collagen production and additional improvement can continue for months after the treatment. With proper care to avoid the harmful effects of sunlight, the improvement can last for years. Laser After Green Peel? I had a green peel a 5 days ago, everything is perfect with my skin, but I'm considering a facial laser tratment next week- permanent make up laser removal on my brows. It's my third laser procedure on the brows, and the permanent make up is very thin, but I'm worried about hyperpigmentation after this deep green peel? How long should I wait after the peeling to get this procedure done? What about a facial laser hair removal after the peeling?

A: Laser treatments after a Green Peel

You should avoid any laser treatment for up to 6-8 weeks post peel. If you skin is still red and sensitized, I would wait a little longer. In the long run, it is always better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck!

I Had Laser on my Face 13 Weeks Ago Is It Normal to Still Be Red? I have small blood vessels on my face and redness after 13 weeks. It still burns a little. Can you get roseca from laser Thank you

A: Laser treatment on face and still red

Without knowing what type of treatment you received or laser type, settings or pictures it is very difficult to determine whether your redness is normal. You could have become "sensitized" after the laser treatment, but it is highly unlikely that it would have caused rosacea. If you had laser resurfacing, your skin could still be in the healing phase and will reside eventually. I would call the clinic where you had it performed and schedule a follow up visit if you are concerned. Best of luck.
