Is It Possible To Undergo Rhinoplasty to Get a "Pixie Nose"?

I have a thin nose but it is long and tall, and has a slight hump. I have a small face and it is not proportioned with the rest of my facial features. A "pixie" like nose would suit my face well but I do not know if I will be able to make my nose flat, short, and upturned. If it is possible do I need to see a specialist?

A: Rhinoplasty to create pixie-like nose

Photos are needed to provide feedback as to whether or not a pixie-like nose is realistic.  Consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty.

Want to Know if I Am a Good Candidate for Rhinoplasty? How Many People Wish They Had just Kept the Nose They Were Born?

---> what rhinoplasty can do for my nose?? I am leaning towards a well known doctor here, who is still affordable but still looking for other options. I was quoted 5,000 approx. He said he can file the bridge(bump on the nose) and narrow the tip. He has done previous work on me, where my body managed to give me a raised scar. I want to know what could be done in terms of a rhinoplasty to correct my nose and it still look like my nose. And also, how does a nose job change over time, with aging?

A: Good candidate for rhinoplasty?

The rhinoplasty operation involves cosmetically reshaping the nose to create changes of refinement such as filing a bump nose, narrowing the nasal bridge through osteotomies.  The tip can be addressed through multiple different approaches with a combination of either a small amount of tip cartilage being removed and/or suturing the 2 tip cartilages together to narrow and refine the tip.  Thick skin will limit the degree of change rhinoplasty can achieve and the patient will most likely need close follow up with cortisone shots in the tip area over the first few months after the procedure.  It is important to find a surgeon who has a real focus on rhinoplasty to deal with the many different nuances of the procedure and individual anatomy.

I Want to Change my Nose and Lips? What Do You Think? (photo)

I'm a young male and I want my nose to be less wide. And I dont want an "ethnic nose job", I want to completely change my nose. I also want my lips to be longer and less plump. like Nicki Minaj. Would this be possible? And are there any other plastic surgeries you think I need? I don't know what to do.

A: Changing shape of nose and lips

A rhinoplasty operation could narrow the nasal bridge line, including the bones and cartilages.  Osteotomies would need to be performed to narrow the bridge line and upper lateral cartilages.  Thinning of the nasal tip could be performed by a variety of techniques, such as suturing the nasal tip cartilages to become more narrow and refined.  An alarplasty is often performed to narrow the nostrils.  A simple lip reduction procedure can also be performed if a patient wants to reduce the size of the upper and lower lips.
