So, after three consults over the years, I finally decided it is time for a reduction I have pretty much wanted my whole life. I was the little girl that had to wear a bra before anyone else. The little girl that the boys always commented about my boobs. As an adult, I have had to buy old lady swimsuits just to be able to fit my boobs into them. I am a 34H, in shape, but just happen to... more

I have wanted a BR for years, I developed early and really want to have back, neck, and shoulder relief. I was referred back in 2000 for a BR by my PCP and was denied by my insurance company because I needed to seek more conservative treatment. I kept all the records and decided after 14 years that this was the year I was going to do it whether or not the insurance company would pay. I kept... more
I had had back, shoulder, neck pain for years. In the last 8 months, it intensified. When my physical therapist suggested a special bra, I knew that it finally was time. Dr Cooper's office was incredible. I was on the edge of what insurance companies consider cosmetic. Between myself, my providers and Dr Cooper's office, the insurance company agreed it was a medical need. I woke up from... more
No pain, no bruising, and no external stitches! After my breast reduction, during an office visit, I took Dr. Park’s hands and said;
“These are hands which create miracles, I believe you handled my tissue with such care and gentleness and your true artistic ability is clearly demonstrated in the masterful work and shape of my breasts!”
Dr. Park replied he was taught to always be... more
I had a bilateral breast reduction with Dr. Vaniver just before Thanksgiving of 2013. I have been a size 40-42 H for a number of years with no problems, except for trying to find bras that fit. In the summer of 2013 I began to have increasing shoulder pain, decided it was related to exercises, so I cut back on the workouts without any improvement. In October, the pain was so bad I was... more
This coming Wednesday is my Pre-Op! My surgery was just approved this week to be payed for by my insurance! I've never been so excited for anything in my life. I've had back and neck problems since my freshman year, I've always been an extremely active athlete and have never been able to reduce my breast size. In my 30 pound weight loss I went from a 34G to a 32HH! I'm super excited for this... more
I developed at an early age and I was mortified and embarrassed by my breast size and would even wear jackets during the summer. I was very psychologically bothered by this but also had back and shoulder pain. When I was 16 I saw Dr Nygaard, she was very kind and professional. She explained everything well and I remember having a great deal of trust in how she treated me as a teenager. She was... more
I always had big breasts but for the last couple of years, it's like they kept growing more! I consulted with Dr. Gregory Park and he was not only professional, but very likeable as well. His reviews and work had the best reviews I had ever seen do I decided yo go for it!
The consult went well and Dr. Park was very informative and showed great experience too.
Don't feel good. I'm still... more
I didn't grow in especially early, but they came in fast. I started 8th grade a solid B cup and by the end of the year I was spilling out of D's. Through high school and my 20's they kept growing slowly, but surely. In my early 20's I went from 165lbs to 125lbs. I kept it off for several years, but the damage was done and it didn't really change my cup size all that much. I went from an ok set... more
I have been big boobs girl since high school. There’s never been a time when I’ve loved my breasts. They made me self-conscious I feel like they rob me my confidence and my health. They ruined my posture and my weight (I start gaining weight to make them proportion to my body). And I was constantly aware of how much trouble they caused me. When I got dressed, when I was running, when speak... more
My surgery is in 32 hours and I'm pretty freaked. I wear a size 30G bra, for context. Honestly, as long as they're small I don't really care about scarring or nipple sensation or anything like that. So I'm not freaked about really anything to do with the results, but I've never had surgery or anything close before and it's pretty scary. I have an anxiety disorder, which doesn't help. I'm... more
Hello! I was an early developer and was wearing a D cup by the time I was 13 years old. I got a lot of unwanted attention throughout my younger years and was actually molested. I've always hated my boobs (and not because of the ugly attention I got for them) but because I always looked frumpy and heavy and disproportionate with them. I was never a heavy teenager, but I always felt insecure and... more
I've always had large breasts. For a long time I never thought seriously about a breast reduction, but as they keep getting bigger, I've given it a bit more thought. I've been researching and thinking for the last month or so - not long, I know, but I've got a little less than a year left before I'm too old to be insured by my parents, so I've got no time to lose, really. I'm going in for a... more
I'd considered having a breast reduction for years. I struggled with all of the typical problems. Back and neck pain, rashes under my breast line, my clothes didn't fit right. I just didn't feel good about myself. I had a consult a year prior to seeing Dr. Cooper and my insurance denied my request. I thought about it for several months and decided that I didn't want to live the second half of... more
My breast reduction, brow lift & eyes were all done at the same time. Never really felt pain & the results are awesome. My breasts are now perky & perfectly fit my body now. My eyes are still healing & swollen, but everyday look so much fresher. more
I am going to be 19 years old and considering a breast reduction. My boobs have been large for as long as I can remember. I used to go to my mom in tears crying that nothing fit on top. Currently I am a 36 DDD. I have tried exercising, but as my waist gets smaller, my boobs don't. Over the past couple years it has gotten more and more painful. Recently I have been experiencing back and neck... more
I am very pleased with how my surgery turned out. Prior to surgery I was a 36G I was experiencing awful back pain and needed to do something. I was able to go through my insurance company and have them help with the procedure cost. I am still a bit swollen but I believe I will be roughly a 36D now, which excited me! I am 6 weeks post op now, and can't wait to continue my recovery and enjoy my... more
Like most, since I made the decision to move forward with the reduction, I have been pouring through this site reading everyone's stories non-stop, lol. It has been very informative and a little gruesome honestly, but at least I know what to expect.
About me - I am 37, 5' 7" and 155lb. I have wanted a breast reduction since my mid twenties and even went so far as to have a consultation... more
