My recovery took about four days (including the day of surgery) during which I felt very out of it and slept a lot, but was not painful. After that, I was able to move around, though of course, the splint has to be kept on for a week, and there was still swelling, but no pain or problems. Follow up has been great. I decided to have a rhinoplasty procedure to refine the tip and dorsal hump. The day of surgery was the most uncomfortable because there is packing in the nose which is taken out the next day. Make sure you go to a surgeon who only does noses. Your nose is really important part of your body. I got a nose job because as you get older your cartilege grows and this became a problem for me. I just didn't think my nose was that attractive. Since I've had my nose job my nose runs contantly, I have more allergies, and its aggrevated. Make sure you do your research ahead of time... more
