My recovery took about four days (including the day of surgery) during which I felt very out of it and slept a lot, but was not painful. After that, I was able to move around, though of course, the splint has to be kept on for a week, and there was still swelling, but no pain or problems. Follow up has been great. Make sure you go to a surgeon who only does noses. Your nose is really important part of your body. I got a nose job because as you get older your cartilege grows and this became a problem for me.
